RHoA 7×13 is named “The Countdown Begins,” and it’s certainly an apt title: Phaedra and Apollo are counting down the former’s last days of freedom, Kenya‘s counting down to the revival of her career, Porsha‘s counting down to a party thrown in her honor, and Kandi‘s counting down to her play going on tour (or is she?). Have you ever noticed that when the Real Housewives of Atlanta ladies go on a trip, it takes two episodes just to get through the drama?
RHoA 7×10, “Puerto Read-Co,” set the scene for a group trip to Puerto Rico and culminated in an explosive dinner during which Phaedra and Demetria sparred (“The only thing we have in common is the number eight: Yours is going, mine’s been here for eight,” Demetria smirked), NeNe called Claudia a whore in no uncertain terms and Claudia proceeded to, as Kandi put it, “read NeNe like Hooked on Phonics.” RHoA 7×11, “Divide & Ki-Ki,” picks up at that dinner, so one thing’s for sure: The drama will be more plentiful than the alcohol.
Last week on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, some beef was squashed, some tea was sipped, and Porsha, Kenya, Cynthia and NeNe came to an uneasy détente culminating in the most awkward hugging and kissing since Phaedra and Apollo.
