As of today, we are a little more than a month away from the season 3 premiere of Pretty Little Liars. The premiere will feature a bit of a time jump from where the season finale left off. After the reveal of A and the death of a friend, the girls reunite after going their separate ways for a few months. Check out the episode description of the third season premiere of Pretty Little Liars.
Spoilers:
“A summer has passed since Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer found out about Mona being ‘A’ and Maya’s death…. Each of the four girls spent their summer in different ways – Aria taking a photography class, Spencer taking college courses at Hollis, Hanna taking cooking classes with Caleb and Emily building houses in Haiti. But… with post-traumatic stress, anger and the acquisition of more secrets the four Liars are anything but fine. Now all back together and coming upon the second anniversary of Alison’s disappearance, the girls find themselves back on the defensive when a shocking event rocks Rosewood.”
I can’t believe season 3 of Pretty Little Liars is almost here. It seems like just yesterday that season 1 was starting. The first promo pictures of the third season are out and feature the cast posing. Season 3 begins on ABC Family June 5th. They look great! Check out the pictures here:

This was the one episode of Punk’d we were most excited about. Lucy Hale hosted this week’s episode and her number one victim was fellow Pretty Little Liars castmate Ian Harding. Also Punk’d during the episode was Vanessa Hudgens and The Hunger Games’ Josh Hutcherson. I don’t care what that cop said. We dig Ian’s chest hair!

We posted about a twist that would be revealed in season 3 of Pretty Little Liars and it got me to thinking of all the ways the show could go. If they follow the books, we won’t be surprised. But if LOST has taught me anything, it’s that I am very spoiled when it comes to my TV. I want to be surprised. I need it. Otherwise, I’m not entertained. When it comes to TV, there’s nothing better than a good shocker or a jaw dropping WTF moment.
If they follow the books, the Alison we and the girls know has all along been Alison’s crazy, insane, twin Courtney. One major plot hole here is that her family hasn’t mentioned her at all. True, they could have pretended she didn’t exist and carted her off to a mental hospital. But I remember when Ali’s mom came to visit, she said something like “both my kids do.” If she had three, she may have said all my kids? I don’t know. I can’t give the writers that much credit here. Where would her twin even be hiding all this time? A storage shed? Now that I think about it, Mona should have hidden all her incriminating evidence in a steel shed somewhere. Maybe then I wouldn’t have been so disappointed at that finale. Spencer wouldn’t have found it. Arrow Sheds are pretty good Mona. In case you’re planning for next time.
Another theory floating around is that the visions the girls have been having of Ali are real. She’s real. Or in this case, still alive. Wouldn’t that be awesome? Maybe Ali is alive. But if they don’t go the twin route..why would she be alive then? How could she have faked her death? I see no other way around this. Her twin would have had the same DNA.
What do you think? Where would you like the show to take this?
Hmm. What is in store for fans when Pretty Little liars returns for its third season? If you ask Sasha Pieterse, a big twist! Sasha, who plays Alison on the ABC Family hit show, teases that a surprising twist the fans don’t know about is on the way. Is she alive? Does she have a twin? Considering the show seems to be following the books about A’s identity and the fact we all thought that was going to be different, I’m going to guess the twin route will be taken. I’d love to see Alison alive though. Start guessing!

Just when we thought several mysteries on Pretty Little Liars had been wrapped up, we find out that one of the most important characters, if not the most important, Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse), has something in store for Season 3 that will surprise all of us.
When Zap2It asked Sasha what we can expect from Ali in the upcoming season, she said, “Alison likes to manipulate everyone. There’s something the fans don’t know about a certain situation that ties back to Alison, and the way it all ties together is kind of crazy.”
Ali may not get a huge amount of screen time on PLL, but every second she appears is full of mystery and intrigue. We’re wondering what this “certain situation” is that the fans don’t know about. Could it be Ali’s twin? Could Ali still be alive, and manipulating Mona (Janel Parrish)? What if Vivian Darkbloom is the Black Swan?
With Season 3, anything is possible.
