Eric Nies is a face familiar to anyone who grew up watching MTV. One of reality television’s first and brightest stars, Eric appeared in the very first season of MTV’s The Real World. The Real World: New York went on to shatter boundaries and inspire important conversations that are still relevant today.
Following his time on the series, Eric Nies went on to host The Grind, Dance Fever, and was a fan-favorite appearing on multiple seasons of The Real World/Road Rules Challenge.

We had the opportunity to chat with Eric Nies about his time on The Real World: New York, returning for a reunion in 2021 during a pandemic for The Real World: Homecoming, the transformational journey he has embarked on since his time on the show, and his thoughts on returning for The Challenge: All Stars.

Hang on to your hats, Challenge fans! There have been many changes over the years when it comes to MTV’s hit reality competition series The Challenge. An evolving cast that spans decades and cast members from The Real World, Road Rules, Are You The One, and more has made sure the show is kept fresh. But for OG fans, it was hard to accept that some of the original faces we grew up with weren’t going to be on the show anymore.

It’s understandable. People grow up, grow older, and move on with their lives. But it was always a possibility, a hope, and a dream for fans that one day, MTV would consider bringing back some of our original favorite cast members. Enter Mark Long.

Chuck Mowery joined the cast of The Challenge: The Final Reckoning for the chance to prove himself amongst Challenge veterans and fellow rookies. Fresh off a stint on MTV’s Are You The One?, Chuck reunited with ex-girlfriend Britni Thornton to put aside their drama and battle it out for a grand prize of $1 million.
We spoke with Chuck about what it was like joining the hit MTV series at the end of a trilogy, working together with his partner Britni, competing with Challenge vets he grew up idolizing, and what he wished MTV would have shown.

Jenna Compono is no longer a rookie when it comes to MTV’s The Challenge. She’s back this season for one of the most intense competitions yet. This time around, Jenna and her partner Jemmye must work together and put aside betrayals and backstabbing to battle it out for the ultimate grand prize of $1 million.

MTV’s hit reality competition series The Challenge is currently airing it’s latest season — “Battle of the Exes 2“. This season pairs up ex-couples for the chance to win a grand prize of $350,000 dollars. This is also the first season to introduce a new twist to the game. For the first time ever, losing teams are given the chance to compete in The Ex-ile for a shot at returning to the house.
Jessica McCain has proven herself in the past to be a strong competitor. We had the chance to speak with her about being paired with Dustin this season, her time in the Ex-ile that made her sweat, and whether or not she will return for another Challenge.
