The new season of Baby Daddy is already looking to be awesome, especially if you’re a fan of the dearly departed mystery series on ABC Family Kyle XY. While the series was canceled a few years ago, the cast has remained friends. As a treat for fans of both shows, Matt Dallas, who originally starred as Kyle, will be guest starring on the upcoming new season of Baby Daddy alongside his former costar Jean-Luc Bilodeau. Matt will be playing Fitch Douglas, a love interest for Riley.
Baby Daddy is set to return to ABC Family’s Comedy Wednesdays on May 29th.
Rumer Willis is headed to Rosewood. The actress is going to be guest starring in an upcoming episode of Pretty Little Liars. She will be playing a charity organizer “with a sense of humor.” Her character is slated to appear in one episode with the option to appear in more. Her episode will air in July.
What do you think of this casting news? Is Pretty Little Liars resorting to semi-famous faces to help with ratings? Not sure that’s the case here as it is one of ABC Family’s top rated shows.
Pretty Little Liars returns for season 4 on June 11th on ABC Family.

Big casting news for Person of Interest. Samantha Shaw will not only be back in season 3, she’ll be sticking around permanently. CBS has announced that Sarah Shahi will be made a series regular. Shahi originally appeared last season as a mysterious character tracking terrorists before they act. She slowly became integrated into the center of the group, gaining knowledge of the Machine and driving Reese around town in expensive sports cars.
This is not the only news to come out about the show this week. Upon announcing their new schedule, CBS revealed that Person of Interest would be moving to Tuesday nights at 10pm.

Today has just been non-stop television news! Renewals, cancellations, and pick ups galore! One of the biggest standouts for us so far is the new CBS drama Intelligence. It will star LOST alum Josh Holloway. We are so thrilled to see him again on our screens. It’s been a long time since Sawyer warmed our hearts. Josh will be playing an agent at US Cyber Command who has a microchip implanted in his brain that allows him to access the entire electromagnetic spectrum.
Now I have no idea what that means. Didn’t he get enough of magnets when he was on LOST? But with all of the cancellations in the air today (CSI:NY, Vegas) there’s a void that needs to be filled. And with a star studded cast that includes Marg Helgenberger from CSI, and Meghan Ory from Once Upon A Time, this could be a break out hit! Does this mean we’ll be seeing a lot less of Ruby on Once Upon A Time?
We’re so happy for his success. Fellow LOST alums Terry O’Quinn, Mark Pellegrino, and Henry Ian Cusick all received good news today about their new series. Congrats to them all!
Quit playing games with my heart, Universal. Universal has decided to postpone the release of Jurassic Park 4. Before fans panic about the future of the fourth installment of the hit franchise, let’s look at what we know. Universal has released a statement saying how excited they are for the project. That doesn’t look like they want to cancel it. It simply seems that the original release date of June 13th, 2014 wouldn’t give the filmmakers enough time to produce the best movie possible. I’m going to tell myself that maybe they’re hoping the delay will work with the schedules of the original cast.
In other Jurassic Park news, Variety is reporting that Bryce Dallas Howard and David Oyelowo were the front runners to star in the film. Personally, this is the bit of news that worries me more than the delay. Each movie has had at least one of the original stars in the cast and I don’t know how fans will react to an entirely new cast. Surely, they could fit the original cast members, or at least some of them, into the script in some capacity. Even if they can’t run around a jungle anymore. Sam Neill is hanging out in a vineyard and I don’t think Joe Mazzello is busy. Just saying.

JURASSIC PARK 4
In coordination with filmmakers, Universal has decided to release
Jurassic Park 4 at a later date giving the studio and filmmakers adequate time to bring audiences the best possible version of the fourth installment in Universal’s beloved franchise.
We could not be more excited about the vision that Colin Trevorrow has created for this film, and we look forward to watching as he and the producers create another great chapter in this franchise’s storied history.
