This week, I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Jason Bell of Star Trek Beyond. A combat veteran who served in Afghanistan, he has had roles in shows like Arrow, The Flash, Smallville, and Once Upon A Time. He’s been an unsung double in many of your favorite movies as well, such as Man of Steel, Godzilla, X-Men Days of Future Past, and Deadpool. In addition to excelling at stunt work, he’s also a certified PADI diver, and he plays delta blues guitar in his spare time. You can currently see him as Captain Kirk’s right-hand man in Star Trek Beyond, out July 22. Check out the hilariously entertaining interview after the jump!

Synopsis: Did you know that on the night of April 14, 1912, when the Titanic was sinking, that there was a large cargo ship six miles away that could have saved every person who died that night? Boston reporter John Steadman, covering the horrors of that night, learns about the ship and its complete inaction. Unlike the other reporters, he is not content to let it stand. Thinking of the twelve hundred people who died that night (including fifty-three children, whose names no one can be bothered to utter), he dons disguises and travels thousands of miles to uncover the truth: How could the SS Californian see every one of Titanic’s eight distress rockets and do nothing? The Midnight Watch by David Dyer, based on actual articles and dispositions of the time, aims to delve into the mind of those responsible and find out the truth.

It’s been almost a week since Tonight Alive released their latest album, Limitless, so I thought it was high time I reviewed it. Who is Tonight Alive? Well, they’re a punk rock band from Australia with a bombass female singer.
I discovered Tonight Alive quite by accident when a friend of mine posted a gif of Jenna McDougall on tumblr. “Who is this?” I asked myself. “A girl in a punk rock band who isn’t Hayley Williams?” I downloaded their 2013 album, Lonely Girl, on iTunes and never looked back. I take on the haters and give you a track-by-track review of Limitless under the jump. (more…)

We’d like to introduce you to Broadway babe, Radio Disney alum, and budding pop star Ashlee Keating!
Ashlee has been singing almost her entire life. Growing up in Philadelphia, her breakout came at the ripe age of three, when she performed on a weekly basis with “Al Alberts TV Showcase.” In her youth, she combined her love of singing with acting, taking up musical theater and starring in numerous plays in her hometown. At the age of six, she landed the role of “Gretl” in The Sound of Music not only on Broadway, but in their National Tour as well.
In 2008, Ashlee was selected as a finalist for a Radio Disney’s Incubator Program, which not only got her songs some airplay but gave her the chance to perform at Radio Disney-sponsored concerts! Her music did so well that she was chosen to be the opening gig for many Disney stars who are now household names, like Demi Lovato and Raven-Symoné!
We recently had the chance to get to know Ashlee a little, and we’ll share our conversation with her after the jump. (more…)

This week, we had the pleasure of speaking with Dyllan Murray, who is well on his way to building the career of his dreams!
Fresh off working with Tyga on “Firecracker,” he’s releasing new music “very soon” according to his Twitter, and it will be called “Prove Me Wrong.” We’re definitely looking forward to hearing his incredible voice on some new tracks.
Check out our questions and his answers after the jump!
