Because my brain hasn’t quite comprehended the INSANE events of tonight’s True Blood season finale, the recap isn’t quite happening. However, here are the biggest spoilers of the night that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.
Who lived, who died, and who made out in the season finale of True Blood: Save Yourself:
Let’s start with a body count shall we?
- Jason basically shoots every one in The Authority except Bill.
- Sam kills the red headed Sharon Osbourne lookin’ lady (Rosalyn) while Luna shapeshifts into Steve to get Emma.
- Shapeshifting into a human one more time may have been too much for Luna. Her fate isn’t looking great.
- Russell Edgington was killed in the first 30 seconds when Eric appeared out of nowhere to stake him. It was really quick and kind of lame for such a powerful and fan favorite character.
- Maurella has four faerie babies and has a good time doing it. Then she says “peace out” to Andy to raise her litter. Then Holly calls him a dick.
- Alcide kills JD after taking some V. I don’t really care.
- Steve’s fate had me confused for a moment. I thought Luna had to kill him to shift into him but then I remember everyone has morphed into Sam at some point. Praise his light! I’m hoping he’ll be back next season. Give the fans what they want HBO.
- Salome. Bill laces some blood with silver and encourages Salome that she is the chosen one. Then he stakes her. This action sets into motion the crazy ending everyone will be talking about:
But before that…
Tara rescues Pam and then they MAKE OUT. Huzzah!
And I’m sure you’re wondering about the massive cliffhanger we always get come season finale time. Well, this one is a doozy.
BILL DIES.
Bill drinks all of Lillith’s blood and then DIES.
Okay. Let’s back up. Did HBO just pull a Boardwalk Empire and kill off the leading man? Well it certainly looks like it. And just as I’m sitting in my chair chanting “WTF WTF” with my hands on my face like I’m Macaulay Culkin on the cover of Home Alone…Bill rises up from his puddle of goo and roars like a lion.
Say it with me. WTF??
True Blood season finale preview! The episode, Save Yourself, vows to be a bloody, action packed hour of television with the war of vampires against faeries and humans heating up. I would actually love if this year’s finale didn’t just end with the villain of the season getting killed off. I know a bunch of characters will probably be killed off in the finale, like they always are, (and I kind of wish they would just take Bill at this point and save Russell and Steve) but it would be great if the war carried over to the next season. With all of this build up, it would be great for it to continue.
If it means Jason will wear more of that spy gear, I’m all for it. But seriously, take Bill. And Luna too. And give Alcide something more interesting to do. I’m finding myself falling asleep during his scenes and that’s not okay.
Who will make it to next season?

What are the vampires going to do if their only legal source of food is getting blown to bits? And what the heck is going on with Bill? I wish someone would just wrap him in silver chains already. Here are some great sneak peeks at Sunday’s new episode of True Blood: Gone Gone Gone.
The clips are relatively short but definitely worth it. Who is on the receiving end of this gun in Sookie’s hand? And you know you want to see Russell and Steve slow dancing to Teenage Dream.

How crazy was True Blood last night? Bill has, in my opinion, officially lost his mind. What a traitor. The blood he’s been drinking is obviously drugged. He’s being such a wienie. I’m kind of ready for him to be killed off but that will never happen.
This preview however raises so many questions for me. I won’t say them until after the cut so you guys won’t be spoiled. But, you need to watch it. The final episodes of the season look even crazier.

- Why the hell is Jason in a grave with Jessica? They better keep him human.
- Who will Bill betray next?
- Why is Godric (who looks super hot by the way) chilling with Lillith?
- Who are Sookie and Lafayette trying to shoot?
- Why is Tara crying?
- Most importantly, who are they killing off?
What the heck is Bill doing? I never thought Eric would be the more rational vampire. Here is the preview promo video for next week’s new episode of True Blood: Somebody That I Used To Know.
