The Vampire Diaries 5×09 – “The Cell” – Recap

Buckle your seatbelts, kiddies. We’re gonna be doing a lot of back and forth between present day and the 1950s during this episode of “The Vampire Diaries”. To start, we revisit the old Salvatore boarding house in Mystic Falls in 1963 where Damon is greeted by a relative by the name of Joseph Salvatore. It never becomes clear exactly who this Joe is because right after he stabs Damon with a syringe of vervain, he gets his neck snapped. Another man waltzes in and jabs him with another needle, knocking him out for the count. In some form, this all relates back to the Augustine society. (more…)

Fans of The CW network will be sure to recognize Sabrina Mayfield. A talented and versatile actress, Sabrina recently landed a coveted role on the hit CW series The Vampire Diaries. Premiering in October 2013, Sabrina plays the role of Diane Freeman.

The Vampire Diaries 5×8 – “Dead Man on Campus” – Recap

Parties and anchors and lab rats, oh my! If you wanted a mashup of college, torture, science and a little bit of lovey dovey, tonight is your episode. As of now, Jesse is a full fledged vampire by Dr. Maxfield’s reckoning. Predicting a positive outcome to his theory, he begins a blood transfusion from an undiluted bag. However the vamp’s strength was an unforeseen side effect. Gee, doc. You would think with all your standard vampire mythology you’d know they’re super strong. But I guess being held captive as a guinea pig to the mad scientist’s tests the last two weeks took a toll because Jesse finally gets a chance to stretch his legs and take a bite out of life.
