Maia Mitchell and a number of her ABC Family co-stars were at New York City’s Rockefeller Center yesterday to walk the red carpet at ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas Winter Wonderland event.
We caught up with Maia, who plays Callie on the hit ABC Family drama The Fosters, before she laced up her skates. She gave us some insight into what to expect from tonight’s holiday episode, what’s coming up in the second half of season 2 and the fallout from that Brallie kiss.

Hayden Byerly will be back as Jude on the hit ABC Family show The Fosters. The original drama series returns Monday, December 8th with a special holiday episode to kick off the new season. The innovative original series sees Jude’s character coming to terms with his identity while becoming a member of a new and loving family. Along with his older sister Callie, Jude looks to the future as his adoption into the Foster family becomes permanent.
We had the chance to chat with Hayden about what viewers can expect in the special holiday episode, what’s ahead for Jude and Callie, and the big cliffhanger between Jude and Connor that Hayden describes as “a very big thing.”

Tis the season to be eager for some new episodes of The Fosters. The hit ABC Family drama series is set to return for a special holiday episode this December. Following the explosive mid-season finale, we can’t wait to see what’s in store when the show returns on December 8th.
In “Christmas Past“, Callie and Jude spend their first Christmas with the Fosters. Annie Potts and Michael Fairman will be guest starring in the episode and Bailee Madison is rumored to be returning.

Amanda Leighton has been brightening up television screens since her acting debut in 2005. Viewers may recognize her from a stint on The Young and the Restless, as Wendy Capshaw on the final season of ABC Family’s Make It Or Break It, and a guest starring role on Pretty Little Liars. Amanda returned to ABC Family in her recent role of Emma on the hit drama series The Fosters. Starring alongside Jake T. Austin, fans have come to love the quirky and fun character.
