The pressure is mounting on an all new episode of Switched at Birth. In the second episode of the third season, “Your Body Is A Battleground” sees the families struggling to keep up with normalcy. Kathryn and John clash over the new field hockey team and Kathryn’s new friend (played by Alec Mapa), Bay struggles with her art, and Daphne and Campbell try to correct a mistake.

Switched at Birth is returning with new episodes and a star studded season 3 next week! I’m so excited. I love this show! And I love the cast and I can’t wait to see what the guest stars ( Max Adler, Sandra Bernhard, RJ Mitte, and Alec Mapa) have to offer.
In this sneak peek clip of the season premiere episode “Drowning Girl“, Daphne looks to be struggling after her hectic Summer. John, in particular, looks to be freezing her out. On the plus side, it looks like Kathryn is giving the girls actual lunch boxes for school.

R.J. Mitte is heading to ABC Family. The Breaking Bad alum will be making his debut on the hit ABC Family drama series Switched at Birth this January. He will be playing the role of Campbell, a paralyzed student who will be working with Daphne (Katie LeClerc).
Switched at Birth returns with season 3 on Monday, January 13th on ABC Family.

Is anyone else more than ready for season 3 of Switched at Birth? THR has just released the first look preview at the third season of the popular ABC Family drama series and man, does it look good. The promo may only be 30 seconds, but it’s enough to get us pumped for the new episodes.
In the clip, Bay seems confident going into her senior year while a tearful Daphne vents her feelings when everything is falling apart. Anyone else miss Jace? Elsewhere, we get a brief glimpse of guest star RJ Mitte, and a quick glance at Regina (Constance Marie) finally happy with Angelo.
