On Friday, May 1st, Canadian rock band Courage My Love released their sixth EP, SPECTRA. It’s their first release since 2017’s Synesthesia and subsequent walk away from Warner Canada; all of the songs on SPECTRA were produced and released without a label. The band has been releasing songs off the EP since June of 2019 with the single drop of “Teenagers” (which we reviewed at the time), but the release of Courage My Love’s SPECTRA includes three tracks that at least I have never heard before!
I’ve been listening to Courage My Love since 2015, and although their sound has changed and grown a lot since then, they are absolutely still a band I love listening to. I’m thrilled that they’re continuing to make music and excited for them to be doing it on their own terms. Check out the track-by-track review of SPECTRA after the jump!

It’s been almost a week since Tonight Alive released their latest album, Limitless, so I thought it was high time I reviewed it. Who is Tonight Alive? Well, they’re a punk rock band from Australia with a bombass female singer.
I discovered Tonight Alive quite by accident when a friend of mine posted a gif of Jenna McDougall on tumblr. “Who is this?” I asked myself. “A girl in a punk rock band who isn’t Hayley Williams?” I downloaded their 2013 album, Lonely Girl, on iTunes and never looked back. I take on the haters and give you a track-by-track review of Limitless under the jump. (more…)
We’d like to introduce you to Broadway babe, Radio Disney alum, and budding pop star Ashlee Keating!
Ashlee has been singing almost her entire life. Growing up in Philadelphia, her breakout came at the ripe age of three, when she performed on a weekly basis with “Al Alberts TV Showcase.” In her youth, she combined her love of singing with acting, taking up musical theater and starring in numerous plays in her hometown. At the age of six, she landed the role of “Gretl” in The Sound of Music not only on Broadway, but in their National Tour as well.
In 2008, Ashlee was selected as a finalist for a Radio Disney’s Incubator Program, which not only got her songs some airplay but gave her the chance to perform at Radio Disney-sponsored concerts! Her music did so well that she was chosen to be the opening gig for many Disney stars who are now household names, like Demi Lovato and Raven-Symoné!
We recently had the chance to get to know Ashlee a little, and we’ll share our conversation with her after the jump. (more…)
