She’s certainly not Hannah Montana anymore! Miley Cyrus debuted her new music video today for her new single “We Can’t Stop.” Miley rocks not only her new hair, but a new musical identity. This song is so catchy and this video is, oddly enough, exactly what I was expecting from her for this song.

Louise’s first album, “Fingers Crossed…” received critical acclaim and now the indie artist is gearing up for a new phase in her career with the release of her new album. Louise has brought her pop-punk-rock sound from across the pond to delight fans that have eagerly been anticipating the follow-up to her debut album.
The album, her first collab with Boz Boorer, features the debut single “Where Are You.” A mixture of rock and pop melodies, the song is a catchy addition to her discography. Upon finally listening to her new single, I was reminded a bit of the 90s music I still know and love today. I could picture it being played as the theme song to an end scene of a movie, similar to the awesome playlist in movies like 10 Things I Hate About You. In fact, while listening I heard similarities to great bands like Jimmy Eat World. I don’t know if this is just because I love their music and their catchy melodies and lyrics but the similarities are still there. At least for me. “Where Are You” is already stuck in my head.
While the vocals on this particular song aren’t big and powerful and lack a bit in passion, just a bit, the instrumentals and music more than make up for it. As does the rest of the album, which I might add, is available for fans to listen to on her website. I really enjoyed this one and Louise has a lot to be excited for. She’ll be celebrating in New York City at her album release party which is taking place at The Bitter End on May 1st.
New music alert! Dana Williams is an up and coming singer and songwriter from the Los Angeles area. Sister to actress Davida Williams and daughter of the great David Williams, who is perhaps most known for his 30 years working alongside Michael Jackson, Dana’s voice and music is fresh and soothing. Her voice is beautiful with a vintage quality to it. I get a bit of Norah Jones vibes when I listen to her.
Fresh off of finishing the Leighton Meester Check in the Dark Spring Tour in 2012, she has just released her new music video for her single “Keep Me Waiting.”

From Smash to a solo success. Megan Hilty has released her new lyrical music video for “No Cure.” The song is off her new solo album It Happens All The Time. Megan is known for her big, beautiful voice so it was a surprise to hear her choose a single that’s so simple. In my opinion it doesn’t showcase how amazing her voice really is.
You can see Megan on NBC’s Smash on Tuesday nights before it makes the move to Saturdays in April.

New music alert! Josh Groban has released his new music video for his new single. “Brave” is the first single off his new album All That Echoes. It’s a refreshing song from Josh and it’s been stuck in my head since I first heard it. That’s always a good sign.
All That Echoes is available now.
