This season of Baby Daddy is already exceeding my expectations. The episodes are hilarious and the cast works so well together. I am also loving seeing Matt Dallas on the show with his former Kyle XY co-star Jean-Luc Bilodeau.

We’re only two episodes in and I’m already loving season 2 of Baby Daddy. ABC Family has a hit on their hands here. There were some major developments in the Riley-Ben-Danny-Matt Dallas quadrangle that is their love life last night. Here’s hoping Fitch sticks around for awhile. I loved seeing Matt on the show.

Most of you will recognize Derek Theler from ABC Family’s hit new comedy series Baby Daddy. Derek plays Danny, brother to Jean-Luc Bilodeau’s character Ben. He previously appeared on The CW’s 90210.
Derek has plenty of reasons to celebrate. Baby Daddy has become such a hit amongst fans that the network has renewed it for a second and third season before season 2 even aired. Along with his cast mates, he participated in a season premiere tweet-off where he was ultimately declared the winner; having gained the most new followers during the event.
We recently chatted with Derek about the new season of Baby Daddy. He reveals what and who we can expect this season.

We were really stoked about this particular interview. Fans will recognize Jean-Luc Bilodeau most recently from his starring role on ABC Family’s Baby Daddy and Kyle XY from a few years back. I, myself, am a huge fan of both. I loved Kyle XY and I was crushed when the network canceled it. This was one of the many reasons why I was excited when Jean-Luc was announced for ABC Family’s new sitcom Baby Daddy. The other reason? Because it’s so good. It’s hilarious and a surprising hit among viewers. So much of a hit that the network renewed it for a third season before the second began airing.

The new season of Baby Daddy is already looking to be awesome, especially if you’re a fan of the dearly departed mystery series on ABC Family Kyle XY. While the series was canceled a few years ago, the cast has remained friends. As a treat for fans of both shows, Matt Dallas, who originally starred as Kyle, will be guest starring on the upcoming new season of Baby Daddy alongside his former costar Jean-Luc Bilodeau. Matt will be playing Fitch Douglas, a love interest for Riley.
Baby Daddy is set to return to ABC Family’s Comedy Wednesdays on May 29th.
