True Blood certainly ended with quite a cliffhanger last season. The long wait between seasons isn’t helping my curiosity any. I don’t know much about the upcoming sixth season, other than it will probably be bloody and bloody crazy now that Billith exists. Fresh off a stint on House, Karolina Wydra will be joining the cast as Violet. Her character is described as sexy (of course), strong, possibly dangerous, and the female equivalent of Bill or Eric. Did I mention she’s going to be a bad ass vampire? Things are going to be interesting when True Blood returns to HBO in June.
There have been a lot of new additions to the cast this year. I’m more interested in the characters that are already established. Honestly, I would watch an hour of Steve Newlin and Jason Stackhouse shopping together. Think about it. Steve picking out sweater vests for Jason and Jason buying scarves and north face womens jackets for Sookie to protect her faery blood from other vampires.
What do you think will happen when True Blood returns to HBO? Now that Alan Ball is out of the picture, will the show be totally different?
Casting news via TVLine
It’s a busy week when it comes to casting news for the fourth season of Pretty Little Liars. Ryan Guzman has been tapped to guest star in episode 2 of the upcoming new season. You may recognize Ryan from Step Up Revolution. Being in great shape like that looks like it will help him for his character. He’s set to play Aria’s “patient and sensitive” martial arts instructor. These four girls are so stupid normally so it’s great that one of them finally thought about learning some self defense. Normally I’d be thrilled at the addition of so many new and good looking guys. As long as it doesn’t come at the expense of Drew Van Acker’s character Jason, I’ll be fine.
It’s crazy to think how long it’s been since Lost has ended and how long it’s been since Josh Holloway has had a starring role on television. Thankfully, that’s about to change. The actor has signed on to star in the CBS pilot drama Intelligence. TVLine reports that the series is set at US Cyber Command that focuses on an agent with a special gift. Based on the unpublished book Dissident by John Dixon, Josh will be playing Gabriel Black, a former Navy Seal. Does this mean we’ll get to see him in uniform?
ABC Family has picked up two new drama series to premiere this Summer. The Fosters is produced by Jennifer Lopez and focuses on a mixed family of both biological and foster kids raised by their two moms. The series will star Teri Polo and Jake T. Austin. Twisted comes to ABC Family as a new hour long mystery thriller. The plot is described as a 16 year old with a troubled past becoming the prime suspect when a fellow student is found dead in her home. This series will star Denise Richards, Sam Robard, and Avan Jogia.
What do you think? How do these shows sound? Will you be tuning in?

Meet Cory and Topanga’s daughter! Man, it still feels so weird to say that. Rowan Blanchard has just been notified that after a nationwide casting search, she has won the role of a lifetime. She’ll be playing the daughter of Cory and Topanga in the Boy Meets World spin-off. Girl Meets World is still in the very early stages. Production on the first episode hasn’t started yet so at the earliest we could be seeing the series on the Disney Channel at the end of the year/beginning of next year.
What do you think of Rowan? Is she what you imagined Cory and Topanga’s daughter to be?
