The mysterious town of Ravenswood just got two new residents. Following the announcement that Tyler Blackburn would be departing Pretty Little Liars for Ravenswood, two new additions to the cast have been revealed. Brett Dier and Elizabeth Whitson will be joining the cast as siblings. Elizabeth’s character is described as an ex-queen bee while Brett’s is a brooding loner. Every show needs one.
The Pretty Little Liars spin-off is set to debut in the Fall following the Halloween special on ABC Family.
Update:
Merritt Patterson has been added as a series regular. She’ll be playing Tess, the former best friend of Elizabeth Whitson‘s character Olivia.
This casting decision sounds like it was made specifically to make me freak out and clap my hands together with glee. Jim Caviezel is set to star alongside Laura Dern in the upcoming football drama When the Game Stands Tall. Jim will be playing De La Salle High School football Coach Bob Ladouceur with Laura playing the role of his wife (Ahh!). Michael Chiklis will also star in the movie as well as Alexander Ludwig of The Hunger Games.
The movie is set to begin production on April 22nd according to THR. This makes me very excited. I’m happy that Jim is using his break from his starring role on Person of Interest to pursue other projects and I’m thrilled to see Laura Dern in another movie. But I can’t help but wonder. How is her schedule looking otherwise? Might there be some room for her to film a part for Jurassic Park 4? Someone get Steven Spielberg on the phone.

Girl Meets World is turning into a 90s fantasy. Sister, Sister alum Jackée Harry will be appearing in the pilot episode for the Disney Channel. Her role, so far, is unknown but this TGIF reunion should be exciting fans everywhere. As we previously reported, William Daniels is also going to appear in the episode.
Disney has not yet ordered the series for the Fall but with so much buzz surrounding the pilot, they’d be fools not to.
There’s still no news about Sebastian Stan’s possible role in the upcoming Once Upon A Time spin-off but now we have a leading lady. An Alice to be exact. Sophie Lowe will be playing Alice in the upcoming spin-off. The upcoming show is now titled “Once: Wonderland” and will be 13 episodes, similar to American Horror Story.

Fans that are still nursing the wounds that last week’s episode of Once Upon A Time left may enjoy this news. In fact, I’m sure you will. Even though it appears that Eion Bailey is done with the character of August on Once Upon A Time, he is headed to NBC. The handsome actor is set to guest star on Law & Order: SVU as a veteran suffering from PTSD. The episode is slated to air on the network in April.
I’m happy Eion is getting more work but I’m still bummed about his character on Once Upon A Time.
Do you miss August? Will you be tuning in to see Eion on Law & Order: SVU?
