Grimm 4×16 – Heartbreaker – Recap

“How the silly frog does talk! He can be no companion to any human being”.

Juliette is sure her relantionship with Nick is over, while Captain Renard has to deal with a new member of the Royal Family.

Nick is still trying to reach Juliette, but she’s hiding at Renard’s place. And, she’s done calming down. She’s angry and wants her old wesen-less life back.
Finally Nick tells Hank what’s going on with Juliette.

Nick and Hank have to leave Nick’s problems behind for a while, when Wu calls them in to investigate a strange death. A cyclist, Zack Blumenthal, was found dead, with some kind of allergic reaction on his face. Hank and Nick check out his appartment, and they find a photo of a woman, and various drawings portraying the same woman. They find out the woman is part of a group of River City Riders, and they find out her name, Bella Turner. Zack and Belle were not a couple, and the other members of the group tell Nick and Hank she prefers not to hang out. They don’t know where she lives, only where she works.
In the meantime, Wu finds out that Zack was killed by a toxyn that caused a heart failure. This toxyn is found only on three kinds of poisonous frogs in Colombia. Wu, Hank and Nick all suspect Bella might be involved in Zack’s death, and that she might be wesen. Nick and Hank find her at her workplace. Nick tries to upset her, to make her woge, but without results.
Nick and Hank talk with Monroe and Rosalee, who might have figured out what kind of wesen Bella is. A Folterseele, a kind of wesen that woge only under a negative physical sexual response, as an offensive defense mechanism. Rosalee says she will try to find a way to undo her wesen side.
One night, one of Zack friends tries to attack Bella, but he dies.
Nick finds her, and she agrees to drink a potion Rosalee has prepared, that might bring her wesen powers away. And it works, only it leaves her with some side effects, as Rosalee has warned her. Bella’s face is ruined, but as it happens, she finds a man who’s not bothered by her look, him being covered with tattoos. Happy ending.

Renard is informed by his inside man, that Viktor has been sent back to Vienna.
With Viktor gone, Adalind is about to meet another member of the Royal Family: Prince Kenneth. He immediately figures out Adalind is pregnant, and when questioned who’s the father of this baby, Adalind replies that it’s Viktor’s baby.
Kenneth, after beating up Renard’s informant, tells Adalind that Viktor is sterile.
Kenneth uses Renard’s inside man to set up a trap. He gives him an appointment, only Renard won’t find his man, because Kenneth kills him.
When they meet, Kenneth and Renard fight, but the Prince prevails, Renard’s scars start to bleed again. Kenneth tells him that either he joines the Royal Family in the search of his and Adalind’s daughter, or he will end up dead.

Nick receives an email from Trubel, and while he’s answering her that everything is fine, Juliette comes back home, but only to take some of her things to move out. Nick tells her he loves her and hasn’t given up on her, but she seems quite sure their relantionship’s over.
