Grimm 3×13 – ‘Revelation’ – Recap

“Still, after a short time the family’s distress again worsened, and there was no relief anywhere in sight”.

Adalind is about to deliver her baby, while Nick and Hank are investigating the Wesen-serial killer who’s murdering cops and scalping them.
Monroe asks Rosalee to marry him, and after she says yes, Monroe’s parents are invited to meet her. They seem not to take very well the news that Rosalee is a Fuchsbau and not a Blutbaden. Rosalee then decides to leave the house. After that, Monroe’s parents meet Nick… a Grimm!

In the new episode of Grimm, 3×13 “Revelation”, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) tries to explain that Nick (David Giuntoli) is a friend, but his parents won’t accept any explanation and they leave Monroe’s house.

Meanwhile in Austria, we find out that Prince Viktor is in contact with Stefania, who’s helping Andalind with her pregnancy, behind Adalind’s back.
They want the baby to born in the Prince’s castle.
Captain Renard is informed of this by his spy inside the castle. Stefania wants to sell Adalind’s baby to the royal family, so Renard tells his spy to get to Adalind before Stefania and the Prince.

Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee) manage to get a shot of the cops’ serial killer.

Monroe and Rosalee talk about what happened with his parents. She doesn’t want to destroy Monroe’s relationship with them, but Monroe is sure that he wants Rosalee no matter what his parents might think.

The wesen attacks another cop and kills him.

Monroe calls his mother and tells her he’s coming to talk.

Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) helps Nick with his case, and finds a lead which might explain who this wesen is. It appears from ancient mythologies, that “the more scalps you have, the more power you’ve extracted from your enemies and the fiercer you therefore were on the battlefield”, as Juliette says.

Monroe confronts his parents. He tells them that he loves Rosalee and he’s going to marry her no matter what they think.

In Vienna, Adalind receives a call from Captain Renard who tells her that Prince Viktor and Stefania are coming to get her. Viktor wants just the child. He tells Adalind his people are coming to help. While Adalind is leaving with them, two of the Prince’s people arrive to get her, but Adalind manages to leave with Renard’s allies.

Juliette talks with Rosalee and Monroe, and she tells him about the case Nick is investigating, therefore Monroe runs to help his friend.
He tells Nick that the wesen who’s killing cops is a Caccia Morta, a very dangerous kind of wesen, more dangerous than any other they have ever seen before.

Adalind is brought to a secluded house where she can be hidden more safely.

Monroe’s mother goes to talk with Rosalee, and his dad waits for Monroe at his house. They argue again, this time about Nick. He tells his father he and Nick are going against a Caccia Morta, and Monroe’s dad seems to be terrified aboout the idea, but leaves Nick and Monroe.

Monroe tells Nick the Caccia Morta is looking for him, since he’s a Grimm. They leave for Nick’s trailer to look for the most appropriate weapon to fight it. Nick finds out that those kind of wesen can be weakened by taking their hair.
Just as they’re about to leave the trailer, Nick and Monroe are attacked not by one, not by two, but by three wesen. And that’s when Monroe’s father arrives to help his son. Together with Nick, they manage to win over the wesen.

Adalind is about to deliver her baby.

And finally, we see Monroe’s parents, Nick, Juliette, Rosalee and Monroe having dinner all together. Despite the obvious difficulties, they’re trying to get used to one another.
