Prince Charming is fleeing the castle to rid himself of what would be an awful marriage to Abigail. Lucky for him, she finds him before he can get very far. She doesn’t want to marry him either. She has her own love who is trapped in a curse that has turned him to gold. She begs Charming to help her break the curse. He agrees for the sake of true love.
It is a dangerous mission that requires him to travel to a magical lake with a monster inside that must be defeated. The monster is a Siren of sorts who can transform into anyone that would entice her prisoners to stay. She, of course, transforms into Snow to try and drown Charming once they kiss. He is able to break free from the illusion and stab her. He brings back the water to break Frederick free from the curse. He can’t celebrate for long. He runs into Red and King George and his men appear to attack them both.
Mary thinks its time to tell Kathryn the truth about her and David. When Kathryn announces that the two of them should move to Boston so she can go to law school (It’s like Legally Blonde!) David decides the time is now. He manages to tell her everything but the fact he’s having an affair. She’s able to get that the two of them aren’t in love or connecting though. She makes her way to the school to slap the crap out of Mary who has no idea what’s going on and is baffled when she hears David didn’t tell her the truth. Regina did it for him. The town now thinks Mary is the biggest tramp around and no one will have anything to do with her. She breaks it off with David because she feels the two of them are destructive for each other. David is making it so hard to root for them. Charming on the other hand…
The new town Mystery man has a name. It’s August. Seems fitting. He takes Emma out on a date to an old wishing well. He spews Emma some tale about a town legend he just happens to know where the water from the well is magical and will return something lost. Wouldn’t you know it, the next day Emma finds Henry’s book. But really, August probably put it by her car. After he..rewrote it? August is shown sewing the book up with new pages. What’s he up to?
Kathryn writes David a letter telling him he should just be with Mary. Regina goes into the house and burns it. As she does so, Kathryn gets in an accident on the outskirts of town and completely disappears. Where did she go??
