The Person of Interest panel at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con is currently underway. Without even being over yet fans already have a bunch of great things to mull over. First: The announcement that Amy Acker who plays the mysterious character of Root will not only be returning, but she will be bumped up to a series regular.
Next: This great new trailer for the third season of Person of Interest was revealed. The trailer doesn’t feature much from the new season but pokes fun at certain recent events taking place in the news.

Great news for fans of Person of Interest. For the first time ever, the series is available for digital download. The first two seasons of the hit CBS drama series are now available for viewing on iTunes and Amazon Instant Video. This is a great way for fans of the show to brush up before the third season premieres and an even better way for new fans to discover a fantastic series.
Does this mean the show will finally be available on On Demand?
Would you like to see Person of Interest On Demand? Will you watch it on iTunes or Amazon Instant Video?
There may be a ton of fun Summer TV programming for everyone to enjoy this season but we’d be lying if we said we weren’t excited for the return of our favorite shows in the fall. CBS is the first network to announce the premiere dates for the Fall 2013-2014 season. Some series will be seen moving to new nights in the lineup (Person of Interest, Hawaii Five-0, etc.) and new times. Highly anticipated new series Intelligence will be joining the lineup mid-season.

CBS is the next network to reveal their upcoming Fall 2013-2014 schedule. Among the changes are a few shake ups in the lineup department. Thursday nights will become a comedy block with Person of Interest moving to Tuesdays at 10pm. Hawaii Five-0 will be leaving it’s Monday night slot and taking over for CSI:NY on Friday nights. Additionally, Mike & Molly will be held to midseason.
I’m a little concerned about all of these changes, considering they involve two of my favorite CBS shows. The reactions for Person of Interest seem to be positive but with ratings as good as it was enjoying, I’m worried they will suffer if the series airs later on at night. As for Hawaii Five-0, I’m not sure Friday nights are ever good for a series.

Big casting news for Person of Interest. Samantha Shaw will not only be back in season 3, she’ll be sticking around permanently. CBS has announced that Sarah Shahi will be made a series regular. Shahi originally appeared last season as a mysterious character tracking terrorists before they act. She slowly became integrated into the center of the group, gaining knowledge of the Machine and driving Reese around town in expensive sports cars.
This is not the only news to come out about the show this week. Upon announcing their new schedule, CBS revealed that Person of Interest would be moving to Tuesday nights at 10pm.
What do you think of these developments?
