Vanessa Lengies joins the cast of Glee as “Sugar.” Fans may remember her from American Dreams. She is the second casting announcement to come out from the new season.
Details on who she will be playing:
Another fresh face will be turning up in the halls of McKinley High when Glee returns this fall. American Dreams alum Vanessa Lengies is joining the Fox hit’s Season 3 cast in the recurring role of Sugar, a new student who is described as a cross between Molly Shannon and a New Jersey Housewife.
Sugar was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and a tin ear. Basically, she can’t carry a tune to save her life, but I’m guessing that won’t stop her from auditioning for a spot in New Directions.
Mercedes is finally getting her man. The Glee powerhouse is getting a boyfriend in the form of Lamarcus Tinker. He will be playing the role of Bubba, her football playing..uh..hunk. Because this guy totally looks like he could pass for a high school student.
More info on his character:
Via TvLine:
Glee has found Mercedes’ rebound guy.
LaMarcus Tinker — best known for his role as Luke’s BFF Dallas on Friday Night Lights — is joining the cast as Marcus, a massive linebacker for the McKinley Titans and a love interest for Amber Riley’s lovelorn diva.
The character, formerly known as “Bubba” on casting breakdowns, will presumably fill the hole in Mercedes’ heart left by Sam
One of the worst things to come out of Cameron going home last week on The Glee Project was the end of his Bromance with Damian. In front of the cameras at least. Cameron and Damian got together to make a video for youtube assuring fans that they haven’t seen the last of them and the Bromance will indeed live on. They may even be living together. Yay! I still hope Damian wins. Talk about being in debt to Cameron forever.
On a serious note. i know some of you may not understand my decision to leave, but i hope you can just respect me and my decision. It was one of the most difficult things ive ever had to do. it’s been an incredible ride and this wont be the last of me. you better believe it.

Who went home on The Glee Project: Believability? This week’s mentor is Jenna Ushkowitz. Were the spoilers true?
Results:
This week’s guest mentor is Jenna Ushkowitz. Hi Jenna!!
The challenge song this week is True Colors. The group must perform the entire song for Jenna as opposed to bits and pieces like before. My favorites from this once are definitely Damian and Lindsay. Lindsay has the best girl voice but Damian is just dreamy. And he’s sad because Cameron is gone. RIP the cutest bromance on the show. Samuel perform the song kind of angry looking. I think this is his biggest problem.
Jenna chooses Hannah as the winner of the Homework Assignment and she wins her one on one time with Jenna.
The music video project for this week is The Only Exception. This is one of their better group performances. I really think this kind of song is very good for Damian’s voice. He sounds great on it. And I love his eyebrows no matter how crazy they get during the filming.
During the recording, Alex talks about his father dying and breaks down. Lindsay comes in after him and cries randomly. I don’t know if it’s the editing or what but Lindsay kind of seems like she saw Alex had cried and she too needed to bring the tears.
Bottom 3:
Samuel, Lindsay, and Hannah.
Eliminated:
Hannah.
Poor Hannah. She didn’t have a chance after Lindsay opened her mouth.
