Have you been missing HBO’s Girls as much as we have? The hit comedy series returns early next year with new episodes and what is sure to be a hilarious third season. Following the departure of Christopher Abbott, the series will see the return of Elijah’s character played by Andrew Rannells.
Girls returns with two new episodes on January 12th at 10/9c on HBO.

Are you missing HBO’s Girls like we are? We may be a long way away from the season 3 premiere of Girls but that didn’t stop HBO from giving us a taste of the new season. The new Instagram inspired promo features the gang hanging out at the beach.

Following the news that fellow cast member Christopher Abbott was leaving the show, Michael Zegen will be joining the cast of Girls when it returns for season 3. Christopher decided to quit the show following creative differences with Lena Dunham. The network, and Lena Dunham, haven’t revealed who Michael will be playing but it is possible he will be filling the void left by Charlie’s character no longer being on the show.
Michael previously appeared on another HBO series Boardwalk Empire.
I don’t know who it happened but Adam has become one of my favorite characters on Girls. I mean, last night’s episode didn’t exactly help his cause because of that scene but I just find him and Ray so much more interesting than any of the boring drama Marnie brings to the table. And I am loving Lena Dunham for giving Hannah this OCD storyline. Sadly, this season is already coming to an end. Here’s hoping that HBO considers making the seasons a little bit longer.

This season is going by so fast! There are only three episodes left of this season of HBO’s hit comedy Girls. How have you been liking the season so far? I think it’s miles better than last season. One complaint I’ve been hearing is the lack of focus on the other girls. Marnie is probably my least favorite so I’m really fine with the way that’s been going. But I’d love to see more of the guys. Ray’s episode a couple weeks back was really good.
