Cher fans were excited enough when it was announced the iconic singer would be performing on the Today show this morning but they were blown away when she had a special announcement up her sleeve. Cher confirmed she would be heading back out on tour! The “Dressed To Kill” tour will begin this March in Phoenix, Arizona and continue through July in San Diego, California. Fans can RSVP on Facebook for presale codes and early access to VIP tickets.
Glee fans were in for a bittersweet treat today when it was announced that fans could unlock a new song from season 5. The opening track on “Glee Sings the Beatles,” which goes on sale Sept. 24, fans can now hear Lea Michele sing “Yesterday” by The Beatles. The timing of the song is especially emotional although it’s not clear how the song will be featured in the two-part Beatles tribute episode.
The tribute episode is set to air September 26th on FOX.

Someone certainly doesn’t want to wait for new pop music. Following the likes of Katy Perry and Lady Gaga who have had their new singles leak early this year, Britney Spears fans woke up to a similar treat. Britney’s new single “Work Bitch” was leaked early with a low quality mp3. Not wanting fans to get a mediocre listen, Britney and her people released a high quality version of her single earlier than planned.

We are just 5 days away from the much talked about appearance by Britney Spears on Good Morning America. On September 17th, Britney is set to perform on the show. That’s right. Perform. Not only is she going to perform, but the rumors going around seem to indicate that Britney will be making a big announcement at the appearance. Will we hear her new single “Work Bitch!” Will she be announcing her Vegas show? Only time will tell. Can’t wait!
Good Morning America continues their pop dominated lineup this week with an appearance and performance by Lady Gaga. The singer turned up to perform a Wizard of Oz themed version of her hit single “Applause.” I’m not a fan of the new nose ring but I thought she looked and sounded great in this one.
