While Nick is spending some quality time with his son, Eve calls saying there’s something very important she needs to tell him. When he gets to the HW’s HQ, Eve updates him on everything that happened after she took Marwan’s phone: Renard killing him, and the plan to make him run for mayor. Eve asks Nick to keep an eye on him and tell her his every move.

The next day, just as Nick is updating Hank on his meeting with Eve, Renard calls them into his office to discuss his possible replacement after Dixon’s death. Renard asks them if they would back him if he ran for mayor. Nick says they would.

In Grimm 5×15, Nick and Hank can’t make up their minds: Is Renard involved with Black Claw or not?

Wu calls Nick and Hank for a new investigation: A young woman who returned to her apartment in the morning found the dead body of an old woman she has never seen before. There are no signs of a break-in, but her roommate, Summer, is missing. Moreover, the dead old woman is wearing the clothes and jewelry Summer was wearing the previous night. The only solution is to get the prints of the body and find out if Wu’s theory – that the old lady is Summer – is right. Summer’s roommate shows Nick and Hank a few shots that a professional photographer had just taken of Summer the previous day and explains that there was a good chance she could become a model. Wu comes back with the results: The old woman’s fingerprints are Summer’s.

Nick and Hank immediately think this is wesen. They go to Rosalee and Monroe for advice, and they find out something very interesting – there is a wesen called the Musasat Alsh-Shabab whose victims age beyond their years. It literally sucks the youth from its victims, transforming it into something called Yanbue. When this Yanbue – some kind of unguent – works its magic, age disappears. However, it becomes highly addictive, making monsters of those who use it.

After some research, Nick and Hank find out there have been more cases like Summer’s in the past, and then Wu informs them of another similar case in the present. This time in Grimm 5×15, an “old” man who was 19 years of age is found dead. The victim had the number of professional photographer Malcolm Caulfield, a similarity to Summer’s case. Nick and Hank go talk to him. Could he be the Musasat Alsh-Shabab?

Nick and Hank trace Malcolm’s phone calls, and they find out he often calls a beauty treatment clinic. The owner, Dr. Forbes, claims to have an incredible unguent that will restore everyone’s youthful self. Nick and Hank ask Rosalee to go undercover as a possible patient and take a sample of whatever the doctor is using on his patients to see if it is the Yanbue.

While Rosalee is with the doctor, who tries to put the unguent on her face, Malcolm arrives. He realizes the doctor has used a lot of Yanbue on his face and is transforming into a monster himself, always wanting more and more of the unguent. Nick, Hank and Monroe arrive just in time to save Rosalee. They fight with Malcolm, who is indeed the Musasat Alsh-Shabab, but before they can stop him, Forbes kills him, and then dies.

Meanwhile in Grimm 5×15, Renard is giving a press conference at the precinct to announce he is now running for mayor.

At the HW’s HQ, Eve uses the Hexenbiest potion that once transformed her (as Juliette) into Adalind, and turns into… Renard! What is her plan?
