It’s the second to last episode of the season you guys. We do indeed get some answers tonight…but those answers don’t make sense! Also, if you’re a Ravenswood fan who is still mourning the loss of the series, don’t worry. The ending can be explained in one sentence.

The Truth Shall Not Set You Free
The girls have decided. They’re going to tell the coppers the truth. Just when I think things are finally getting interesting again, A craps all over that within the first 30 seconds of the episode. A picture of Alison in her candy striper uniform appears and it is now clear that A will blackmail the girls to be quiet. Alison visiting them in the hospital would make it look like they were lying.
But hold on. Last week, we saw A fold a candy striper uniform along with the hoodies. Did A simply pose for a new picture in that uniform? Is Alison A? Is her twin?
Pretty Little Liars 5×11
Closure
This episode was full of little plots with no real relevance. Hanna worries about Caleb and his drinking so she stages an intervention with Cadet Toby. Toby gets nothing out of Caleb but Caleb finally admits to Hanna all the BS that happened in Ravenswood. He also gives the fans some closure while simultaneously pimping out a new movie. #WatchOuija. Basically, Caleb and his buds opened all those jars and a bunch of fireflies came out and Miranda went to the Great Beyond. The End.
Paige is wearing a ridiculous dress on a date with a new girl and I can’t seem to think of any significance for it unless she’s toast next week. But they wouldn’t really kill ANOTHER girlfriend of Emily’s, would they?
Aria and Mona have it out in a bathroom and Mona says some things. She’s always just been trying to protect herself from Alison. She wishes she had just died when she fell off that cliff (uhoh) and she wants to know if Mike likes her. Dun dun dun. By the way, Aria is wearing little girl socks from 1993, I can’t! (But I kind of love it?)
MelissA’s Confession
Alright, the good stuff. Some answers. First, Emily goes to Ezra for his investigative snooping skills and he is able to dig up a picture of Alison with Cyrus. She is a liar liar pants on fire.
Spencer receives the video from Melissa and it contains a confession.
The night Alison disappeared, Melissa saw Spencer wandering off with a shovel. Remember? We saw that confrontation with Alison. Melissa then came upon a lifeless body that she assumed was Alison. She thought Spencer killed her so she buried her to protect Spencer. Only, twist. This girl was apparently Bethany. In the same yellow outfit that Alison was wearing? Hold up.
So a girl named Bethany who looked just like Alison was wearing the same outfit that night? And was switched with Alison? Because, didn’t we see Alison get hit from behind… and her mother saw it, and then buried her alive? Didn’t we see that emotional outburst during the last finale? Was Alison lying? Did that ever even happen? Did Mrs. Grunwald with the super blue eyeballs pull her out of the ground? Were both girls buried? Is Bethany a twin? Did they swap places?
So many questions and not enough continuity.
