As huge Pretty Little Liars fans ourselves, we’re thrilled to announce our latest interview! We’re happy to say that we had the opportunity to chat with Keegan Allen on the red carpet for ABC Family’s 2013 25 Days of Christmas Winter Wonderland event in New York City.
Keegan stopped to chat with us about the new episodes of Pretty Little Liars premiering in January. He reveals a little of what viewers and fans can expect in the second half of season 4 as well as what’s ahead for Spoby, his advice for Ian Hardin, and whether or not he knows who or what is in the box when the show returns.
Following the red carpet, the stars of ABC Family were invited to try their luck on the ice at the iconic ice rink at Rockefeller Center!

What is Toby up to when Pretty Little Liars returns?
Keegan Allen: A lot. The Noir episode is by far the one thing I always have to tell everyone about. It’s really a very authentic look back at old Hollywood cinema. Joseph Dougherty is brilliant and very present in that world. Marlene King and Oliver Goldstick did an amazing season this year. I don’t want to give away too many secrets about what happens but it’s a great season. If you’ve been following since season 1, there are a lot of revelations that you will have along the way.
How about his relationship with Spencer? Will that change at all?
Keegan Allen: Possibly. It changes every season. This time it’s a little more..there’s a bit of a situation that Spencer is dealing with and he’s dealing with his mother.
You were once revealed to be apart of the A Team. Did you have any advice for Ian Harding with the reactions from fans?
Keegan Allen: I told him to go home and lock his door and don’t go on the internet. And he did, thank God. He’s still hiding. We went out recently, me and him, and people were like “The A Team!”
Now that Alison has been revealed to be alive, will Toby be struggling with that?
Keegan Allen: I don’t want to say anything too much but he’s dealing with so many issues at this point that it’s another leak in the boat for him as he deals with his relationship with Spencer.
Do you know who’s in the box?
Keegan Allen: I do know who. I won’t tell you but you’re going to be really surprised.
