Paxton Booth can be seen starring as Ollie Wrather in the hit Disney Channel series Coop & Cami Ask The World. Currently airing its second season, Coop & Cami follows two siblings interacting with their millions of fans online.

We spoke with Paxton Booth about his character Ollie, what he is most looking forward to fans seeing this season, his new virtual book club, and being a part of the Disney family.
Read on for our exclusive interview with Paxton Booth:
Was there anyone who influenced or inspired you to try acting as a career?
I started acting when I was really young, so I didn’t have anyone I looked up to at that time because I didn’t fully understand it. Now that I’m older I really look up to actors like Jim Carrey for his physical comedy and Bill Murray for his dry humor.
Can you tell us a little about your character Ollie Wrather on Coop & Cami Ask The World and what viewers can expect from him as a character?
Ollie is a very dry person. He says whatever is on his mind without thinking first. You can expect him to say very funny and sometimes confusing things. He’s an odd little kid that has some great one liners!
Would you say you and Ollie are alike at all? What do you love most about getting to play him?
Ollie and I have a few things in common, but we are more different than alike. Ollie is the daredevil for his older siblings’ livestream show ‘Would You Wrather’, which means he does most of the stunts and gags. That’s something that both of us really enjoy. He does like the slimy and messy gags, which are not my favorite.
Coop & Cami Ask The World is currently airing new episodes of Season 2 on the Disney Channel. What can you share about what viewers can expect from the new episodes?
The Wrather family gets themselves into more funny adventures, and the audience will get to meet a few new characters along the way.
More specifically, what is Ollie up to in the new season? What are you most eager for viewers to see?
I am really excited for fans to see Ollie grow up throughout the season. He’s really maturing and starting to branch out on his own a bit.
What are your hopes for your character as the season continues? What would you love to get the chance to do or see in an upcoming episode?
I would like to see Ollie with some more friends, I think it would be interesting to see who he hangs out with. I also would love to see The Wrather family get a pet…mostly because I love working with animals!
How exciting and fun is it to be a part of the Disney family?
Being part of the Disney family is something I never thought would be possible. I grew up watching shows like Jessie and never imagined the poster for the show I’m on would be up on the wall at the Disney Channel building right next to theirs. It is a dream come true for sure!
With so many of us stuck at home in quarantine, how have you been passing the time?
I’ve been spending a lot of time with my new puppy, Ripley. She keeps me very busy! I have also been reading a ton lately. On Instagram, I have a virtual book club where I post what book I’m currently reading using #PagesWithPaxton. It’s been fun reading along with other kids!
