We spoke with Scotty Berg about what his listeners can expect from his new music, his plans for a new album, and what’s on the horizon as he takes this next step in his music career.

What initially inspired you to pursue music as a career?
It kind of just happened. I have always sung and then started taking vocal lessons at nine. From there, it was getting little gigs around my city or busking and gaining confidence. With confidence came opportunities for more performances and travel for music, so it just seemed to keep going. I have never really thought of it as a career, just something I am passionate about!
Who would you say your musical influences are? Is there anyone you would love to collaborate with someday?
Morgan Wallen, Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran. Any or all would be AMAZING!
Music is my number one escape. What does your playlist look like right now?
A mix of pop and country for sure! Harry Styles, Why Don’t We, Jack Harlow, Alec Benjamin, Morgan Wallen, Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Dan & Shay, Jordan Davis. The list goes on!
Congratulations on signing with Predominant Studios! You started building your following with the power of social media, so how excited are you for this next step of your career?
Thank you so much. I am excited! It just seems like the next step in my music journey; recording more, getting bigger gigs to play at. Predominant studios seemed like a really good fit for me and my family and the direction they are heading.
What do you love most about connecting with your fans through Instagram and TikTok? What inspired you to start sharing your music online?
Social media has been really, really good to me and it is a way I can connect to fans and others on a bigger scale. It’s kind of what you need to do now to get noticed.

Now that you are embarking on this exciting journey in your music career, do you have plans to release an album?
YES! Super excited to get working on my first full album with some great people in the music industry.
How would you describe your sound to someone thinking of listening to it for the first time?
Feel-good, inspirational words, and beats that inspire people to live with passion and enjoy life! I put my heart and soul into each song and my hope is it translates to those listening.
What can your listeners expect from your new music? How would you say it compares to your previous singles?
They can expect much of the same as my previous singles. A little pop, a little country, and 100% passion and soul are put into every song.
What else can your fans look forward to from you next? What else are you working on?
I have lots of performances in and around my city over the summer, plus going down to Nashville and Los Angeles to write and record songs for my album. So excited for the future!
