Fans of The Chocolate Expo can rejoice! The popular gourmet food market will be returning in 2022 at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, NY. The festival which offers a variety of specialty chocolates, wine, cheese, and gourmet food offerings, hosts its first event on Long Island since the pandemic put life on hold for the community.
I, personally, have been counting the days. Hoarding all of the amazing local items I purchased at the 2020 event to make them last as long as I could without sharing, I can’t wait to return and stock up from some of my favorite small businesses.
The Chocolate Expo 2022
will feature local vendors from the community throughout the three-level museum. Nancy Baker, a food artist who appears on the Food Network and Disney+, will be in attendance along with Cristy Bergeron.
The Chocolate Expo, America’s most exciting chocolate festival, will be
returning to Long Island’s spectacular NYCB Presents Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden
City, NY, on Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.At The Chocolate Expo, attendees will get to taste, purchase, celebrate and otherwise indulge in delicious gourmet chocolates, baked goods, specialty foods, cheeses, wines, spirits, craft sodas and more while touring one of the largest air and space museums in the world with a historic collection that includes one of Charles Lindbergh’s original planes and prototypes from NASA’s Apollo Space Program.

Don’t forget! Guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate as a food drive will be taking place the day of the expo in partnership with The Harry Chapin Food Bank.
Participating chocolatiers in this year’s festival will offer chocolate bon bons, chocolate bars, hot chocolate, chocolate fudge, chocolate novelties, chocolate barks, chocolate-covered pretzels, chocolate-covered bacon and so much more.
Cupcakes, brownies, donuts, raw cookie dough treats, Bahamian-style rum cakes and gluten-free offerings will be showcased along with other baked goods, while chocolate spirits, sangria and mead will be among the craft beverages available for tastings and to purchase by the bottle.

Your ticket not only includes the opportunity to taste, sample, and purchase some truly unique and delicious items, but it also includes a showing of the movie “Birth of Planet Earth” in the JetBlue Sky Theater & Planetarium at no additional charge.
Timed-entry tickets to The Chocolate Expo are $20 per adult and $15 per child (ages 2-12), when purchased online from www.TheChocolateExpo.com, or will be $30 per adult and $20 per child (ages 2-12) at the door.
