“Catch me when you can…”
You can’t save somebody who doesn’t want to be saved, and when it’s too late, neither the love of your closest friends, nor the one of the person who loved you the most will help.
Read on for our recap of the new Grimm episode, “You Don’t Know Jack”.
Nick, Hank, Monroe and Wu arrive at Nick’s trailer, to find almost everything destroyed. Just a few weapons and books have survived the fire set by Juliette. Everyone relieves the moments lived inside that trailer.
In the meantime, Juliette is inside Nick’s house. She has found the perfect diversion to keep Nick busy, while she’s free to send an email to Nick’s mother. She writes that Nick is in trouble and that if she doesn’t come, he may be killed. His mother replies immediately, telling her that she is on her way. The trap is set.
Nick has to find someplace safe for Adalind to spend the night, so he asks Bud to keep her in his house.
Now that they have dug up Adalind’s mother, Rosalee is using several parts of her body to create the potion that might stop Juliette.
Rosalee suggests to Monroe that maybe they should contact Trubel, to help Nick during this difficult moment.
The potion is done. And to see if it really works, Adalind wants to try it on herself. If it works on her, it will work on Juliette too. And it works. Andalind can’t woge anymore.
Nick tries to call Juliette many times, to tell her that they have something that can help her. When she calls back, Prince Kenneth is there, and he listens when Nick tells Juliette to come to Rosalee’s shop.
Nick, Hank and Wu have a new investigation waiting for them. A prostitute has been found dead, her body found by another prostitute and friend, Heidi, who is wesen. Her friend Mary was a wesen too, a Fuchsbau (like Rosalee).
The victim’s uterus was removed. This detail, along with the fact that the victim was a prostitute, the throat cut, lead them to think that it looks like a crime from a Jack the Ripper wannabe.
Nick, Hank and Monroe try to find a clue of who the killer might be in the books that survived the trailer’s fire. They think it might be a case of possession.
In the meantime, another victim is found during the night, and it’s Heidi.
It becomes clear to the press that there’s a serial killer on the loose in town, but the police can’t seem to be able to find out who he is, for now.
Renard wakes up in the middle of a swimming pool, frightened, not knowing how he got there.
Later, his wounds start bleeding again. He’s scared, so he goes to Henrietta for help. He tells her that when he wakes up from the blackouts he’s always around water. When Henrietta says that she will need some time to find out what’s the problem, Renard runs away, furious.
Later, Henrietta feels someone’s inside her house. As she woge into an Henxenbiest, her throat is cut. Just like the two prostitutes. The killer sings a song about the Jack the Ripper.
Juliette comes to the spice shop, but instead of trying out the potion her (former) friends prepared for her, she shatters the glass. She fights with Rosalee, Monroe and Hank, and when Nick points his gun towards her, she uses her powers to make Nick point the gun towards Monroe. The last thing we hear is a gunshot.
Has Nick hit Monroe?
