“He had killed man, the noblest game of all, and he had killed in the face of the law of club and fang”.
This is the episode in which all new alliances and all new enemies are being formed.
Read on for our recap of the new Grimm episode, “Iron Hans”.
Nick, Hank, Rosalee and Monroe are still discussing Juliette. Rosalee says they haven’t found anything that could reverse Juliette’s condition, plus it’s something that has never happened before. Adalind could know something, but they all agree it’s very likely she wouldn’t raise a single hand to help Juliette.
Later, Rosalee goes to the jail to pay Juliette a visit.
Juliette says that life is much more interesting now, and that since Nick didn’t want to give up his life as a Grimm for her, she doesn’t think she should do the same now.
Captain Renard finds himself somewhere in Portland during the night, not knowing how he got there, and his shirt is torn.
The next day he finds out a man was attacked, and he might be responsible.
In the meantime, Prince Kenneth tells Adalind that he intends to tell Juliette that she is pregant with Nick’s child, so that Juliette would betray Nick, telling Kenneth all about him, his mother, and possibly where Diana is.
Juliette bail’s been paid, so she’s free to go. Kenneth has paid for it, and he doesn’t waste any time. He tells her Adalind is pregnant with Nick’s child.
In the meantime, Adalind decides she has to tell Nick about the baby. She meets with Renard first, and she tells him the happy news.
Nick is obviously upset, but Adalind tells him she needs him to protect her from Juliette, and there is something she could do to supress the Hexenbiest in her. It is a very difficult process, and it also requires a very difficul ingredient… a dead Hexenbiest. But, Adalind says she happens to know where to find one, and that’s her mother.
Both Renard and Nick are so upset with Adalind, but she has a point. She did what she did to Nick only because he and Renard took Diana away from her.
Juliette arrives just as Nick is leaving to take Adalind to Rosalee, and she obviously treathens Adalind, and Nick.
Rosalee agrees to help Adalind in putting together a potion that might help Juliette.
Juliette pays a visit to Kenneth, and he tells her that she could be part of the Royal Family, in exchange for her help. Kenneth’s idea is to lure Nick’s mother out, making her think that he’s in mortal danger.
This week’s investigation involves the death of a young man who was hitchhiking. Nick, Hank and Wu immediately agree that it was a wesen attack, and they need Monroe’s help.
Their investigations bring them to the “Iron Hans Ranch”, a sort of camp for boys. Monroe knows about it, and wesen are involved.
The ranch’s owner and his son don’t look very willing to help, especially if a Grimm is involved. They agree to show them where they camped with some kids the previous night though.
The camp’s owner asks Monroe to stay with them for the night, so he could meet some young soon-to-be wesen.
In the meantime, another victim is found, not far away from where the first victim was found.
Monroe finds out that the wesen killer is the ranch owner’s daugther.
In the very last scene of this episode, Juliette sets Nick’s trailer on fire, and then calls him to tell him what she has just done.
