Grimm 4×12 – Marechaussee – Recap

“Everyone sees what you appear to be, few experience what you really are”.

Juliette must learn to deal with her new wesen life. Will she be able to do that?
Adalind is back, and she wants her child back.

Nick and Hank are called to investigate the death of a fortune teller and his assistant. Wu suggests it’s wesen, and by the wouds on their chests, it could be a Manticore, a scorpionlike wesen.
Nick, Hank and Wu talk with the fortune teller’s last appointment, a woman who wanted to “speak” with her dead husband. She says that she saw the fortune teller’s face change completely.
Talking with Renard, Nick suggests that the fortune teller might have been killed by the Wesen Council, because he was using his nature to earn money.
Rosalee and Monroe are back home from their honeymoon, and Nick asks for their help with the case. They confirm Nick’s theory, saying that there are some wesen, called Marechausee, who are like wesen bounty hunters, and they kill for the Council.
Another victim is found, and it is believed to be another victim of the Marechausee.
The Wesen Council warns Rosalee and Monroe to stay out of their business, and to not help Nick. They also decide that it’s time to stop the Grimm from interfering with their business. The Marechausee’s next target is Nick.
In the meantime, Wu has managed to indenify the Marechausee’s identity. Nick and Hank arrest him, and they find out Nick was meant to be his next victim.
The Marechausee manages to escape from the police’s custody, and he’s ready to kill Nick. He goes to his house, and he finds a very angry Juliette. When he tries to attack her, she kills him. Or better, Hexenbiest-Juliette kills him. When Nick arrives at home, he’s very surprised to find the Marechausee dead. Still, Juliette doesn’t tell him anything about what’s happening to her.

Renard finds out that Prince Viktor arrived in Portland, with Adalind. They meet, Viktor and Adalind know about Nick’s mother, and Renard tells Adalind that he gave their child to her because he thought she was the right person who could protect Diana.
Renard tells Nick and Hank about his meeting, and that Viktor and Adalind know about Nick’s mother. He tells them to be very careful. Nick tells Juliette about it, and she’s not happy, obviously. He also sends an e-mail to his mother, to warn her aboout Viktor.
Renard assigns a man to find where Nick’s mother is.

Henrietta has finally some answers for JUliette. She says Juliette is now very, very powerful, and that there’s nothing she can do about it, she has to accept what she is now.
