Grimm 4×08 – Chupacabra – Recap

Nick and Hank have to deal with Wu, while Juliette makes a terrifying discovery…

Nick and Hank are called to investigate when a man and his dog are killed. No one saw who (or, what) killed them. The man who found the dead man says he knows what killed him, “Es el chupacabra”, he says. The chupacabra is a creature that it is believed attacking its victims to drink their blood.
According to a book found in Nick’s trailer, a chupacabra is a wesen that contracted a disease, and because of this, it is visible to everyone.
In the meantime, a second attack occurs, this time the victim survives.
After a third attempt of attack, Wu is patroling the streets, when he bumps right into the chupacabra. He runs after him, and he finds a man on the floor, blood on his hands. He thinks the man is another victim of the monster. A few seconds later, the man disappears.
Hank and Nick talk with the second victim, a doctor, who explains he thought a friend, Diego, a doctor too, wasn’t feeling good. When he found him on the groud, he saw some kind of horrible creature, wearing Diego’s clothes. The man says Diego wasn’t feeling too well that same day, and that they just got back from the Dominican Republic.
When Nick and Hank go to talk to Diego’s wife Belem, Nick sees she’s wesen. Diego is wesen too. When he comes back home, he turns into a chupacabra and tries to attack his wife, but Nick and Hank manage to stop him, while a terrified Wu rescues Belem, only to run away a few moments after.
The only way to cure Diego is with a medicine that Rosalee can prepare. They find out also Diego’s wife is infected by the same disease, but Rosalee has only one dose of the medicine. Diego decides to save his wife and Hank has to kill him, or Diego would have stayed a chupacabra forever.

Juliette talks to Rosalee, and she tells her she’s not pregnant, but she keeps on feeling not well.
Later, just when she’s ready to leave for her honeymoon with Monroe, Rosalee receives a call at her shop, someone threatens her because of the marriage, again.
The night before leaving for their honeymoon, Monroe is attacked outside his house by two “men” wearing a mask.

Wu is every day more and more suspicious of the strange cases Nick and Hank always manage to solve, and he talks about it with Captain Renard.
Renard meets later with a man of the resistance, who asks him about Diana, his child. Renard tells him she’s with Kelly, Nick’s mother. The resistance wants to find the child.

Wu is completely terrified, after what he saw during the recent case. He snaps in a bar and gets arrested.

Juliette keeps on feeling strange. Suddenly she feels a strong pain and, she turns into a wesen, a Hexenbiest, the same kind of wesen Adalind is.
