“I have but to swallow this, and be for the rest of my days persecuted by a legion of goblins, all of my own creation. Humbug, I tell you; humbug!”
The Rockefeller Center is nothing compared to what Monroe can do to decorate his house for Christmas, and this year he has a surprise for Rosalee. An invitation for a delayed honeymoon. Looks just like the perfect Christmas…
Read our recap of the new Grimm episode, “The Grimm Who Stole Christmas”.
Nick and Hank are called to investigate a case of assault in the house of Dennis Gladstone. There was no forced entry, and Dennis’ wife says she didn’t see the attack, just heard it. The only unusual thing that happened was a present left on the front doorstep that same night, during a party. The present looks ripped from the inside.
At the hospital, Dennis says that he thinks a bunch of kids attacked him, dressed like monsters.
Nick and Hank receive a call from a house that’s under the attack of those “monsters”. When they get to the scene, they find a small creature, that could be a wesen. The only problem is that Hank can see it too. Since they don’t know what they’re dealing with, they take it to Monroe and Rosalee’s. They too don’t seem to recognize the creature as wesen. Nick, Hank and Monroe find some useful informations in Nick’s trailer. Looks like this creature, under the name of Kallikantzaroi, are goblins who come to towns to wreak havoc during Christmas, and it looks like they are children. There’s a way to turn them harmless, and the way is… fruitcake. Kallikantzaroi are very greedy, and harmless while eating, and that’s how Nick and friends manage to get them all, and get them back to normal.
Trubel finds out who’s threatening Monroe and Rosalee, and it’s connected to the wesen named Shaw who wanted to hurt Nick, when he found out he wasn’t a Grimm anymore.
Renard tells Nick that his mother is now looking for Diana, who’s with Nick’s mother. They both agree that they have to find a way to deal with their mothers, who are both strong and determined.
Nick asks Renard what he should do with Wu, and Renard says he doesn’t want Wu to know about what he is.
Juliette tells Rosalee that she’s having a bit of nausea lately, and Rosalee asks her if that could mean she’s pregnant. Juliette then has the suspect that it could have happened while she was Adalind.
Josh tells Trubel that we wants to go back home in Philadelphia, to try to deal with the wesen who tried to attack him, so she decides to go with him.
