So, you think you know David Mazouz from Gotham? A new PSA from Chevrolet and DoSomething.org shows the actor in a whole new light. After all, there aren’t many opportunities for impromptu Kelly Clarkson singalongs on the hit FOX show.
In response to the sobering fact that traffic accidents are a leading cause of death for young Americans, David Mazouz got involved with the anti-speeding campaign “Brake It Down.” After young drivers watch the PSA about the four types of people they’re likely to encounter on the road, they can text BRAKE to 38383 to take a quiz about their friends’ on-the-road habits – and receive customized safety tips based on their answers.
Did we mention the opportunity to win a $5,000 scholarship from DoSomething and Chevrolet? Check out the PSA below! (And if anyone knows what hemisphere we’re in… let us know.)

This episode of “The Mindy Project” inches a bit closer to the (inevitable?) will-they-or-won’t-they relationship between Mindy and Danny, and takes an interesting turn as to who bites first.
Mindy and Morgan encounter lawyer Cliff (Glenn Howerton), who’s on his way to a romantic date with Miss Universe runner-up. Morgan chastises a distracted Mindy for blowing the flirtation, believing that they’re meant to be together.
It’s Friday Night Date Night for everyone else but Mindy and Danny, who head to Danny’s apartment after work–Mindy’s invited herself over as an emergency house guest after having lost her purse, keys, and phone. Mindy wistfully complains about never finding anyone, but her silver lining is a new crush. The problem? To Danny, the description of Mindy’s crush sounds an awful lot like, well, him. (more…)
Since the return of Coach (Damon Wayans, Jr.) last week, the latest episode of “New Girl” seems to be going through some growing pains of juggling six ensemble characters. The episode connects the characters with the ubiquity of Hop Foo’s Chinese menus.
Nick’s ordering a boatload of takeout for breakfast, much to the chagrin of health-conscious Coach. Coach tells a careless, dumpling-munching Nick that he needs to work out, warning him about the Boyfriend Fifteen (i.e., extra relationship weight).

In tonight’s episode of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” Jake learns the meaning of the old adage “Don’t meet your heroes” as he bends over backwards to impress his idol, writer Jimmy Brogan (Stacy Keach). Jake swears by Brogan’s book The Squad, a nonfictional account of New York City cops in the 1970s. Jake views the “Golden Age” through rose-colored glasses, but Captain Holt warns him that he might not find Brogan to live up to his standards. (more…)
This week’s episode of “The New Girl,” Mindy finds herself outnumbered by the boy’s club, and so finds herself having to warm up to the newest member, Peter, in order to restore the balance.
Mindy wants to turn the rooftop into a beautiful gazebo garden and serenity space, but she’s outvoted by Danny, Jeremy, and Peter, who want a grill and basketball court. Later, Mindy trips over Peter and Morgan wrestling on the floor, and is cheekily insulted by Peter for the umpteenth time. (more…)
