90s Con came and conquered this past weekend in Hartford, Connecticut. The decade-themed pop culture convention was the first of its kind and featured celebrity guests, panels, merchandise, and immersive experiences that would make anyone who grew up in the 90s feel like a kid again.
I don’t feel that I’m exaggerating when I say that this was one of the best days of my life.

How well do the stars of Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway know each other? People tried to find out by enlisting stars Adam Jacobs and Courtney Reed to play their Costar Challenge. They were each asked a variety of questions that included everything from favorite musicals and Disney characters to where they grew up and went to school.
They’re so cute!

Disney’s successful Broadway streak seems to be untouchable as Aladdin on Broadway continues to captivate and delight audiences of all ages. Based on the beloved 1992 Disney film, Aladdin, the new Broadway musical comedy first began moving audiences back in February. Since then, a talented cast, music from the great Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, and Tim Rice, and the thrilling story we all know and love has been making magic on the stage.
The show has been nominated for 5 Tony awards including Best Musical and Best Original Score. Another special treat for fans includes the previously cut song “Proud of Your Boy”, a track that did not make the final draft of the hit Disney film.
Aladdin on Broadway stars Adam Jacobs, Jonathan Freeman (the original Jafar!), James Monroe Iglehart, and Courtney Reed.
