The USA Men’s Gymnastics team went into tonight’s team finals in the number one spot but ultimately couldn’t hold it. Following a few mistakes early on, the American team eventually placed in fifth with China taking the Gold. Silver and bronze were more difficult to decide. Inititally, Great Britain was awarded the silver medal and Ukraine was given the bronze. The Japan team filed an official inquiry about their last set of points and were awarded a better score. They were given the silver and Great Britain dropped to the bronze. I felt so bad for Ukraine but of course, felt horrible for the US team once Danell Leyva started crying. Here’s hoping they have a much better week!

Spoilers
The homework assignment for the week is Survivor by Destiny’s Child.
Amber Riley is the guest mentor for the week. She shows up with two stress fractures in her feet.
Alli wins the challenge again.
The music video for the week is Eye of the Tiger. The fine print? They have to complete the video in one shot. If anyone messes up, everyone has to start over. And it’s an obstacle course.
They take over 30 takes. Shanna throws up, and Abraham smashes himself into a door and sprains his ankle. Aylin accuses him of exaggerating his injury.
Bottom Three:
Michael. He sings Brick. Nicki says he’s not as good as Blake. Rude.
Lily. She sings I’m The Greatest Star. Lily was amazing.
Abraham. He sings Man In The Mirror. His limp looks super fake. Abraham walks back out after everyone is done and tells them he refuses to go home. I can’t believe he’s doing this.
Eliminated:
Abraham
Who went home on The Glee Project? Can the cast of The Glee Project prove how theatrical they can be? Bring on the wigs, the makeup, and..the meat dress? Find out the results for this week’s new episode: Theatricality.
Spoilers:
This week’s homework assignment is a song from A Chorus Line: I Hope I Get It. Grant Gustin is the mentor this week and it doesn’t look like any of the guys even know who he is. I really liked this performance. Alli and Lily both sounded and embodied the theme the best. Despite whatever lack of confidence he may have, I thought Michael was great as well.
Alli wins this week and will be featured in the music video for When I Grow Up by The Pussycat Dolls.
For the music video, the cast are each dressed as a different musical icon:
Michael is Elvis
Aylin is Madonna
Abraham is David Bowie
Blake is Boy George
Lily is Cyndi Lauper
Alli is Katy Perry
Shanna is Lady Gaga (in a meat dress. Ew!)
Nellie is Britney Spears (I didn’t even recognize her!)

The Bottom 3:
Nellie – I’m The Only One
Abraham – Stereo Hearts
Lily – Someone Like You

Who went home on The Glee Project this week? The cast tries to prove how fearless they are in the Fearlessness episode. Bring on the slushies!

The Bottom Three:
Aylin: Aylin has to sing Take a Bow. She sounds absolutely amazing. Best performance on the show.
Charlie: Charlie has to sing It’s Not Unusual. He re-writes the second half and serenades the judges about wanting to be on Glee. It’s the only time I’ve loved this kid. Kudos.
Nellie: Nellie has to sing If I Were A Boy. She belts it out better than we’ve ever heard her.
Eliminated:
Charlie
It’s time for the contestants to get sexy. This week’s theme is Sexuality and it will be one of the most challenging weeks they’ve had so far. Which contestants came out of their shells and which ones were too confident for their own good?
Who went home on The Glee Project? Check out the recap and results for Sexuality:
This week’s homework assignment has the sex right in the title: I Wanna Sex You Up. Right off the bat some contestants have reservations and nerves for the assignment. Nellie reveals she’s never had sex and Aylin worries her religion may get in the way.
Naya Rivera is the guest mentor this week and no one is more thrilled then Mario. “She’s so sexy even I can see it.” LOL. Naya chooses Charlie has the winner.
The music video for the week is a mash-up of Moves Like Jagger and Milkshake. It’s easily one of the best music videos the show has ever done. My stand outs and favorites from it are Nellie and Michael. They’re just so sexy in it. Michael struggles with the lyrics in the booth so it was nice to see him redeem himself a little.
Charlie gets cocky not only in the booth, but during the shoot. He alienates most of the crew and pisses off the director. That can’t be good.
It’s time for the bottom three. Shanna suddenly has bangs.
The Bottom Three:
Charlie. He performs I Get A Kick Out Of You. Ryan calls him a hot mess.
Tyler. He performs Smile.
Michael (:(). He performs Lucky and forgets the words. Save Michael!
