Amy Acker is gearing up to be a Person of Interest. The actress will appear in the season finale of season 1 of Person of Interest, set to air May 17th on CBS. Amy recently guest starred on ABC’s Once Upon A Time. I can’t believe the finale is almost here. What am I going to do for the entire Summer on Thursday nights?
Details on who she’ll be playing:
Acker will play an attractive psychologist who caters to the rich and powerful. When the machine spits out her number, Reese (Jim Caviezel) must keep her safe from several clients who could potentially kill to keep their secrets safe.

We’ve still got quite awhile to go before new episodes of Pretty Little Liars start again in June. There hasn’t been a lot of news for Season 3 lately. However, a new casting notice has gone out for another cute guy to stir things up on Rosewood. Could this be a new love interest for the girls? And if do, which one?
Spoilers:
Via EOnline:
Naomi: Pretty Little Liars? Anything will do!
PLL is currently casting for what sounds like a new love interest for one of the gals. He’ll be a charming and charismatic transfer student to Hollis College, definitely young enough to romance one of the Liars. But he’s also on the fast track to law school, which might come in handy right about now, don’t ya think? Who do you think will be swooning over the new guy?
I was gonna play Bejeweled but I find theorizing about this show is also a great way to pass the time. Who do you think this guy might be for? With Fitz being out of town for awhile, Aria’s eyes might start to wander. With Toby and Spencer reuniting, I can’t see it being her. Especially when she has that hot English muffin to stare at. Caleb and Hannah are just a little too happy. Maybe it’s time for something to cause some drama between them?
What do you think?
Nestor Carbonell has signed on to join ABC’s new pilot The Smart One. I have two things to say about this. 1: Yay! He’s getting work! 2: Wait, he’s already employed? Why am I not watching The Ringer? The series is set to star Portia De Rossi and has Ellen Degeneres has an executive producer. Sounds good!
Via TVLine:
Ringer G-man Nestor Carbonell has joined The Smart One, ABC’s red-hot comedy pilot starring Portia de Rossi and Malin Akerman as dueling sisters.
The single-camera project, which counts Samantha Who? co-creator Donald Todd and De Rossi’s real-life spouse Ellen DeGeneres among its executive producers, centers on polar opposite siblings Jude (aka “The Smart One,” played by De Rossi) and Candy (“The Dumb One,” played by Akerman).
Carbonell is playing Jude’s ex, a wealthy real estate developer who has a Moonlighting-type relationship with her.
What does this mean for the Lost vet’s current role as FBI agent Machado on Ringer? I’m told Carbonell will appear in the Smart One pilot as a guest star. And while his contract with the potential new comedy does contain a series regular option, it’s in second position (see definition) to Ringer.
There’s a ton of Glee casting news today. It is now being reported that Whoopi Goldberg has signed on to appear in around three episode towards the end of the season. She’ll be playing a professor at NYADA who may be making the decision on who gets into the school. What do you think about this casting choice?
Via TVLine:
Glee sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that the Oscar winning actress-turned-View master has signed on for an extremely pivotal multi-episode arc.
Goldberg will play Carmen Tibideaux, a theatrical grande dame and a professor at New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts (NYADA) who travels to Ohio to preside over Kurt and Rachel’s auditions — and apparently she sticks around long enough to deliver a verdict: I’m told she’ll appear in roughly three episodes, the first of which is set to air on May 1. (Glee‘s season finale is set for May 22.)
In your daily dose of What the heck? news, Lindsay Lohan is reaching a deal to guest star on Glee. If the deal goes through, she’ll be appearing in one of the final episodes of the season as a judge at Nationals. Are they going back to NYC again? I feel like there hasn’t been as much build up this season for Nationals like there was last year. Can’t they just bring back Sandy and Josh Groban?
Via TVLine:
The Fox hit is in final negotiations with Lindsay Lohan to guest star in one of this season’s final episodes, TVLine has learned exclusively. What’s more, she’ll be playing the role she was born to: herself!
An insider at the Fox hit confirms that, if the deal is sealed, the movie star-turned-tabloid queen — once famously the butt of a joke on the show — will serve as a celebrity judge at Nationals. Although there’s no word yet as to who might be joining Lohan on the panel, past judges for the annual season-ending competition have included Josh Groban and Olivia Newton-John.
