Pretty Little Liars returned with a bang with tonight’s Winter Premiere episode “Through A Glass, Darkly“. It was an episode that was full of suspense and action and an episode that was very emotional. It was also, shockingly, an episode where things actually happened! I mean, it got real! And I loved every minute of it. If every episode were like this, I’d be one happy camper.
A big move is made with the murder of Mona’s character, some critical evidence was not taken by A (although some was because, come on) and someone ends up in jail.

Each One Feared The Other…
The episode picks up 3 months after the Christmas special with the town of Rosewood showing up for Mona’s funeral. It looks like everyone showed up. Including Alison. Would the murderer really show up for their victim? Mother Vanderwaal is not happy to see her and actually slaps the crap out of Alison, demanding to know where Mona’s body is. Hanna decides to run to Mrs. Creepy Grunwald from Ravenswood to find out where Mona is. All Mrs. Grunwald will say is that Mona’s soul is scared and in darkness.
Each one feared the other, each one knew something about the other, scared in darkness
Mike is also having a tough time with Mona’s disappearance and there is a heartbreaking scene between him and Aria that will 100% make you cry.
Bad Decisions and Alibis
Bethany Young’s parents have petitioned to have Spencer’s bail revoked. Spencer is terrified about going to prison so they need to make moves on Alison’s alibi and quick. DETECTIVE TOBY CAN HELP. Because he’s like, already in a uniform and employed. That makes so much sense in Rosewood, let me tell you.
Toby is able to find out why Spencer was arrested in the first place. A witness, Mrs. Dilaurentis to be exact, saw Spencer talking to someone in Alison’s clothes that night. She held on to that statement until the right time. Why?
The girls want to prove that Alison killed Bethany and each one has a terrible idea on how to accomplish it. Caleb is trying to hack into Mona’s computer, Emily wants to plant some of Alison’s DNA at the crime scene, Spencer wants to talk to her hot brother Jason, and Aria is only thinking of herself. Drew Van Acker and his gorgeous face return for this episode to prove that Alison’s alibi is BS. She did leave that night on Thanksgiving. Did she kill Mona?
Emily and Spencer find hidden cameras that Mona planted in the vents of her home. Did it catch her murder on tape? Hands up if you thought these cameras would disappear or the footage would get erased before the police even had a chance. Surprisingly, the police not only get the footage of Mona being attacked, but they show it to Jason and he says the person on the screen could be Alison.
ALISON IS THEN ARRESTED FOR MONA’S MURDER AND POSSIBLY BETHANY YOUNG. SHE IS THROWN IN THE SLAMMER. SPENCER IS FREE. THEY’RE ALL FREE FROM A!
Lol. Yeah, right. A throws up some fireworks to let them all know that she or he is still out there.
What now? Spencer doesn’t accept this.
Elsewhere in the episode, Paige moves away and Aria blows a rape whistle on Alison. Then Aria gets Mona’s computer stolen because A nail guns some plastic around her and Aria sucks.
