On October 1, Netflix released one of the best series to come out of the WB:
Gilmore Girls. For seven years we followed where Lorelai and Rory Gilmore led, showed up to Friday night dinner at Richard and Emily’s, and drank copious cups of coffee with Luke. And now that the series is available for binge-watching (which is, by the way,
so Gilmore-y) we thought we’d take a look at our thirty favorite episodes.
Full disclosure: There are no episodes from seasons six or seven on this list. Why? Because nothing good came of seasons six and seven. Well, okay, one episode: “I Get a Sidekick Out of You.” Lane gets married! We’re treated to two ceremonies, a rocking reception in the town square, and Zach in traditional Korean robes. And Logan falls off a cliff and almost dies. That’s nice too.

Is season 4 of Once Upon A Time off to a chilly start? Maybe it’s just me, but after being left less than impressed with the season four premiere, I can’t say I thoroughly enjoyed this second episode. An episode that was 98% Regina and Rumple free. Now, normally, those viewers that are tired of them would probably enjoy this…but are the Frozen subplots enough? Hang in there, Joan.

Alice Sungurov is the latest young artist we’re taking a listen to. The singer and songwriter is based out of the New York area and has just released her new track “So Blind” from HitPlay records. I’m always interested to hear what talented songwriters have up their sleeves.

Today, we’re taking a listen to Direct Divide, a rock trio out of Seattle, Washington. The group, who is described as “violin amplified rock”, just released their EP Bridges. They blend the impressive sound of the violin with the classic elements of a good rock band. Beginning this September, the rock trio has embarked on a 33 date tour around the US in support of their new single “Abduction”.

David Archuleta fans! Archie is back and he’s brought a new music video with him. The little bundle of talent has released his new cover song “Glorious” from the feature-length documentary Meet The Mormons. This is one of the first releases since David has returned from his LDS mission earlier this year.
Even though the video has only been out for a short period of time, the video has already garnered over 200,000 views on YouTube. Will you be able to handle an entirely new album? Can’t wait!
