Okay. So. What just happened at the end of Pretty Little Liars. Alison takes her game to a whole new level on tonight’s episode.

Spencer is pretty much sick of Alison’s sh*t. Her goal this week is to get the other three girls on board with her and Noel’s insurance plan. Spencer wants to tell Tanner everything. The truth. In her eyes, it’s better that the police hear it from them instead of waiting around for A to make everything worse. Team Spencer.
Spencer attempts to hide the new photos and information from Noel in her secret hiding place that she is already keeping the recording of Alison’s confession. Boy, is she shocked when she realizes that someone stole it. Was that someone Melissa? More on that later.
stAkeout
Hanna is so done with everything. She just wants to clean Caleb’s fridge and go running with him. Hanna decides to take her mind off of things and try out for a choir audition. In not-so-shocking news, Mona is sitting there, getting her pipes all ready to go. She’s sitting there in the waiting area belting out notes like she’s gearing up for American Idol. Girl can sang.
But girl can also faint. She passes out on the floor after suffering the shortest panic attack known to man. Hanna later follows her to her car where she is staking out the police station in the hopes of following Cyrus when he leaves jail. It’s nice to see them working together again. I believe Mona when she says that Ali terrifies her.

Deal with the Devil
So, Cyrus. The guy who mysteriously turns up and confesses to a story that completely matches the one that Alison made up. What the heck? Alison tries to buy herself some time from identifying this guy by saying she “doesn’t know.” She was blindfolded all that time, after all. Ali hatches her own plan. She thinks that by letting this guy panic, he’ll lead them all to A. The girls are basically like, um, say WHAT. That is clearly walking right into a trap set by A.
Emily is the last person on Ali’s side these days. Spencer is on Team Noel. Hanna is eating takeout. Aria is worrying about herself. Emily is the last of the impressionable ones and it’s obvious that Ali is doing a number on her. She confesses to Emily that she knows who Cyrus is. They used to be “friendly” and lived together with other homeless kids in an abandoned basement. Then one day he stole her bag and stabbed her in the thigh and gave her that scar.
The flashback to this scene is emotional and I’m starting to feel bad for Ali. But just when I do, she proves why she is not deserving. Emily is “SO DONE” with Alison for playing so many games. Emily finally knows that Alison will throw them all under the bus for whatever she has up her sleeve.
She is now Team Spencer. How long before the other girls agree?
THEN. Cyrus is shown meeting a brunette in the woods and talking about how him almost getting jail time was not part of the deal. The camera pans and it’s ALISON! (Is it?) She’s in her Vivian Darkbloom wig and they’re talking about all the fun the two of them had. What the hell is going on?
Sister, Sister
Finally, Spencer and Melissa are laying it all on the table. But LOL if you thought we’d actually get answers out of it.
Spencer: “What did you do?” Melissa: “I can’t tell you. Not yet.”
Sigh.
Melissa: “Sooner or later, Alison is going to be getting what she deserves. But it’s not safe for me here. Or for you. Maybe you should come with me.”
Melissa is planning on leaving the country because something inevitable is coming. The best way to end the finale is Spencer sitting in first class on a plane to London while leaving a voicemail for Tanner that Alison is full of crap.
I’m a little concerned for Melissa here. I’ve always loved how mysterious she is but when, at the end of the episode, she makes a video confessional to tell Spencer the truth, I’m thinking she may be toast.
