This is fantastic news! Pentatonix is already an incredibly successful group. They sell out tours, they reach millions and millions of views on YouTube, and have already released three albums. Can you imagine what they can accomplish with a big record deal? Well, we’re about to find out. Pentatonix, made up of Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Avi Kaplan and Kevin Olusola, have signed with RCA Records.
RCA president and COO Tom Corson released a statement saying:
“We are thrilled to have Pentatonix join RCA.” “Their musicality and special vocal abilities have enabled them to create innovative original songs as well as re-create some of today’s biggest hits. Pentatonix is unique to our business and we look forward to working with them as we take their talents to new and exciting heights everywhere in the world.”
Pentatonix echoed that sentiment saying:
“We’re really excited to start this new chapter of our career with RCA. We feel like we’ve found a home where we can truly develop our artistry with the best in the industry.”
We can’t wait to see where their careers take them.
