Pretty Little Liars 4×18 – Hot For Teacher – Recap

We’re still trying to wrap our heads around everything that happened in tonight’s episode of Pretty Little Liars.

Emily is desperately trying to win back Alison’s trust and she knows that Shana is still in contact with her. Alison calls Shana begging her to get something for her. “She can’t know yet.” Who is she talking about?

Unable to help Alison, Shana turns to Emily for help getting something out of Alison’s house. In Ali’s bedroom is that poster with the french twins on it. Hidden behind the poster is an envelope full of cash. 5 grand to be exact. Along with a few contacts that might be helping Alison. Unfortunately, Shana is attacked and warned to stop doing what she’s doing so the money never gets to Ali. Ali is running out of money and needs it to stay hidden. Visibly shaken, Ali hops on a bus at the end of the episode, but for where?

So Emily still had 5 grand and we learn that Mrs. D apparently doesn’t know that Ali is alive. Why can’t Ali trust anyone? Well, everyone in this town is crazy, that’s why.

Aria talks to Jesse, the random, hot new counselor at the school. Fitz seems concerned that Aria might say too much and for good reason. Aria is sick of lying about her relationship with Ezra but, who cares? She just ends up spending the weekend at his creepy cabin anyway. Aria really needs to watch out.

The new location of Ezra’s lair is underneath the floorboard in his cabin. That’s an impressive location on a teacher’s salary. Ezra has upped the creepy 100% this week. And I’m absolutely loving every minute of it. Suspicious of what Spencer is up to, he steals her file and the viewers get a glimpse at it saying that Spencer has ADHD. Is that legit?

Spencer needs to get it together because it’s looking like she’ll need all her wits about her. And girlfriend is looking rough. Between her latest addiction to pills, it’s almost clouding her judgment as she continues investigating her new theory about Ezra. Hanna is pissed because she knows Spencer is hiding something from her. She sure isn’t prepared when Spencer lets her in on her secret.

The two of them try to get into Ezra’s apartment and Spencer is scared off when she realizes a camera is filming them. Okay, that is super creepy. HOW can they make Ezra good after this? It would be such a cop out!

Here we have Ezra with a surveillance camera of Aria in bed, of the hallway outside his apartment, and he’s taking pictures of the girls around town. Is Mona helping him? Either way, Spencer confides in Emily and Hanna about what she believes is going on. How long will it be before Aria finds out? And will it be true? They already did the protective boyfriend thing with Toby. They can’t do that twice..can they?
