Fans of NBC’s hit drama Smash can breathe a sigh of relief. The long wait for season 2 is almost over. NBC has released the first hour of the season 2 premiere for fans to watch online. The 2 hour season 2 premiere On Broadway airs February 5th. Jennifer Hudson joins the cast this season as well as some other familiar faces.

The wait for fans of Smash is almost over! The hit NBC musical drama returns to our TV screens February 5th, in a move to Tuesdays, with a two hour episode. Now you can get a glimpse at what’s in store for the dramatic second season. The rivalry between Karen and Ivy is still going strong and there are also some new faces. Jennifer Hudson joins the cast as well as a new love interest and a guest appearance by Sean Hayes. What else can fans look forward to? See for yourself!

Smash has added another familiar face to the growing cast of its highly anticipated second season. Nikki Blonsky has just been announced to appear in a recurring role. She will be joining other cast additions Jennifer Hudson, Jesse L. Martin, and Sean Hayes. We’re so excited for this! We absolutely loved her in Hairspray and can’t wait to support her in Smash.
The 2012 Creative Emmy Awards took place last night honoring the greatest achievements this year in television. Some of the standout winners include Wizards of Waverly Place, HBO’s Girls, the wonderful Jimmy Fallon for his episode hosting Saturday Night Live, and Smash.
The primetime Emmy awards will be airing September 23rd.

Smash is about the add another American Idol finalist to their talented cast. Jennifer Hudson will be joining the show for their second season for a multi-episode arc. She’ll be playing a Broadway star named Veronica.
