With all the news surrounding the upcoming Jurassic Park 4 film, we thought Jurassic Park fans might like to check this out. Fans of the original classic movie know that the original cast members are everything. Dr. Alan Grant played by Sam Neill, Ian Malcolm played by Jeff Goldblum, and Elli Sattler played by Laura Dern made the movie as amazing as it was. Unfortunately, director Colin Trevorrow recently announced that he had decided not to ask any original cast members back for the new sequel.

Someone just hold me while I weep.
In a move that is clearly designed to crush my hopes and dreams, Jeff Goldblum has revealed that he was not called or asked back to appear in Jurassic World. If you recall, Sam Neill also said something similar. In an interview with The Huffington Post, Goldblum revealed that he’s in talks for Independence Day 2 but not Jurassic Park 4.

You had one job, Phil! Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow has welcomed back Phil Tippett, the original Dinosaur Supervisor from the first movie. This is the first of exciting movie updates fans were made aware of this week. A recent tweet by Bob Jasper suggests that Jurassic World will begin filming in Kauai in March.
This is an exciting update as fans await the news of the final cast and whether or not the originals (Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum) will appear in any capacity.
I hope so!
This is getting so exciting! More and more casting news for Jurassic World is being released! First, the news that Ty Simpkins would be joining the cast as the token kid was released and now, that character is getting an older brother. THR reports that Nick Robinson is heading to Jurassic World. The cast is said to be an ensemble. Nick can be seen on ABC Family’s Melissa & Joey and Kings of Summer.
Bryce Dallas Howard is another name that has been constantly rumored as well. Will she be playing the mom? And more importantly, how long will Steven Spielberg torture us like this? Please make Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill a part of this epic adventure.
Along with Nick Robinson, who are you hoping will appear in the movie?
The fourth installment in the Jurassic Park franchise is slated to hit theaters June 12th, 2015.

Alright. I’ll be honest. My thoughts on kids pretty much mirrors that of Dr. Alan grant in the first Jurassic Park movie. Perhaps I just miss Joe Mazzello. That being said, I’m not quite jumping out of my seat at this latest casting news regarding Jurassic World. However, now that I think about, every one of those movies had a kid.
Deadline reports that Ty Simpkins has landed a lead role in the upcoming and highly anticipated Jurassic World movie. The fourth installment in the Jurassic Park franchise is set to be released June 12, 2015. Bryce Dallas Howard has previously been rumored for a leading role as well.
So far, despite massive fan hoping and longing, there have been no confirmations for Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill to reprise their roles. Give the people what they want, Universal! Please?
