I haven’t watched Boardwalk Empire since the demise of one of my favorite characters but they’re doing a good job of making me want to watch again. HBO has released the first trailer for season 4 of the hit drama and it’s looking about as intense as ever. Good to see Richard Harrow is still kicking ass.
Boardwalk Empire returns September 8th on HBO.

I am so ready for this. The Newsroom is back for season 2 this Summer. With the new season comes dramatic news stories like Occupy Wall Street, Charlie’s bow ties, the never ending love triangles, and Marcia Gay Harden. It looks like no one’s job is safe this season and we’re gonna find out what happens when Will McAvoy pisses off the Tea Party.
The Newsroom returns with new episodes July 14th on HBO.

Following the news that fellow cast member Christopher Abbott was leaving the show, Michael Zegen will be joining the cast of Girls when it returns for season 3. Christopher decided to quit the show following creative differences with Lena Dunham. The network, and Lena Dunham, haven’t revealed who Michael will be playing but it is possible he will be filling the void left by Charlie’s character no longer being on the show.
Michael previously appeared on another HBO series Boardwalk Empire.
I know The Newsroom seems to be getting a lot of crap from critics but I really love this show. I don’t know if the media hates it because the truth hurts but I think it’s a great show. The Pilot episode was amazing and I only hope that season 2 gets back to that kind of quality. Focusing more on the news and issues and much less on the love triangles. While we’re hoping for things, I’d like to see a lot more of the crazy, drunken antics of Charlie Skinner’s character (Sam Waterston).
The Newsroom returns to HBO July 14th at 10pm. Will the new timeslot hurt the show?
