Steve succeeds in his mission in Japan. Kind of. He manages to get Wo Fat into custody to bring him back to the US. What he doesn’t know is that Wo Fat is probably happy to have Steve protecting him for awhile. The Yakuza want him dead. Why? Well it probably has something to do with his blood stained bathroom. At first, I worried about Joe. But it looks like he killed Hiro Noshimuri.
This makes things awkward for Kono. The mystery man she’s been dating? It’s Hiro’s son, Adam. I approve of all of these shower scenes. He is HOT. But can she trust him?
I’ve missed the Steve and Danny bromance so much. When Steve finally calls Danny to check in, Danny calls him babe and asks what he’s wearing. Cargo pants! LOL. I love that they give the fans what they want. Or what I want.
Steve is forced to land the plan he’s on with Wo Fat in the jungle after the guards turn out to be dirty. Wo Fat escapes and kicks Steve’s ass when he wakes up. This is painful to watch. I understand he’s rusty but come on Steve. Eventually, Steve takes him out with like, a stick, and continues his trek through the jungle. We learn that Wo Fat has been working with the CIA and the Yakuza is involved. They’re trying to intercept Wo Fat from Steve. Chin has to go and have a chat with Adam about everything. I still don’t trust this guy.
Turns out I can. Adam has been sent his father’s body parts one by one and knows that Wo Fat killed him. He wants his revenge. And he doesn’t want to hurt Kono. Danny is abducted by the CIA so he doesn’t get in the way. Ugh. His face when he hears his buddy is in danger. He loves him. Danny escapes just in time to help Steve when he arrives with Wo Fat. Adam shows up with the CIA and a bunch of goons with guns. Adam doesn’t shoot Steve but Kono shoots the CIA jerk when he tries to kill him instead.
Steve happily places Wo Fat in prison. Why do I feel like he’s happier there?

Tonight’s Hawaii Five-0 and NCIS:LA crossover begins with a deadly scare none of them saw coming. Smallpox. A disease that has been pretty much eradicated is now being used as a weapon to the highest bidder. While investigating the murders of some victims of a botched drug trial, the team enlists the help of the NCIS team from LA.
With the entire island at risk of exposure, there isn’t time to waste. The suspect responsible for the murders has been on the NCIS watchlist and for one member of NCIS, it’s personal. He comes from a big Romanian crime family and would sell a worldwide epidemic for a quick buck without batting an eye. They uncover a quarantine station in a warehouse somewhere and I can’t help but think that Chin is having some serious LOST flashbacks right now.
LL Cool J bickers with Danny about his driving and it just makes me miss Steve. Danny hits him back with “you shoot like Ray Charles.” Sigh. I miss you Steve. After an unsuccessful car chase, they try to intercept their suspect from selling the vials of the disease in a marketplace. Of all the places to do such a thing. It results in a shootout and the death of the Romanian as the team is successful in capturing the deadly vials.
The gang celebrates with some seafood at the beach and even take the time to name Danny’s car Winifred. As I’m watching, I can’t help but think that this episode was too easy. Turns out I’m wrong. Danno gets a call from Kono telling him the vials they uncovered are still out there and in the hands of a disgraced doctor. What’s worse? He just landed at LAX with a disease that could cause an epidemic.
To be continued on NCIS:LA.
I enjoyed having some new guys on the show. With Alex’s absence, the show was really missing something. Daniel had an adorable scene when he was teasing Kono’s character about a boy. I wonder if they’ll pick that up tomorrow night.
Hawaii Five-0 is back! And they’re bringing a little bit of LA with them! Tonight marks the Hawaii Five-0 and NCIS:LA crossover. With Alex O’Loughlin still MIA, this should give the fans something else to look forward to. Here are some sneak peeks and cast interviews about tonight’s special episode: Pa Make Loa.
