Is Jason Segel behind this? Or perhaps this is just his dream come true. This is not an April Fool’s joke! Pixar has officially announced that fans will indeed be getting a sequel to the hit animated film Finding Nemo! The movie is titled Finding Dory and will be released November 25th, 2015. Ellen Degeneres will be reprising her role as Dory, the loveable and forgetful fish. Ellen herself made the announcement on her show as well.
I wonder where Dory will end up? Will she need the tank gang to rescue her? Are you excited for the new installment??
Check out Ellen’s statement and some details on the upcoming film here:
“I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time,” said DeGeneres. “I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating ‘Toy Story 16.’ But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny, and the best part is—it’s got a lot more Dory.”
Via Inside The Magic:
“Finding Dory” takes place about a year after the first film, and features returning favorites Marlin, Nemo and the Tank Gang, among others. Set in part along the California coastline, the story also welcomes a host of new characters, including a few who will prove to be a very important part of Dory’s life.
Can you believe how long it’s been since Monsters, Inc. was first released? I feel so old! Disney/Pixar brings us an all new movie, Monsters University, a prequel to the original. Billy Crystal and John Goodman reprise their roles as Mike and Sulley in the new film that focuses on their rivalry during their college years at the University of Fear training to scare children. Sounds like a fun school to me.

We are SO jealous! Darren Criss not only got to meet Lea Salonga and Alan Menken, but he got to perform alongside them as well. Talk about a dream come true!
