So, you think you know David Mazouz from Gotham? A new PSA from Chevrolet and DoSomething.org shows the actor in a whole new light. After all, there aren’t many opportunities for impromptu Kelly Clarkson singalongs on the hit FOX show.
In response to the sobering fact that traffic accidents are a leading cause of death for young Americans, David Mazouz got involved with the anti-speeding campaign “Brake It Down.” After young drivers watch the PSA about the four types of people they’re likely to encounter on the road, they can text BRAKE to 38383 to take a quiz about their friends’ on-the-road habits – and receive customized safety tips based on their answers.
Did we mention the opportunity to win a $5,000 scholarship from DoSomething and Chevrolet? Check out the PSA below! (And if anyone knows what hemisphere we’re in… let us know.)

Brian Hull rose to fame one fateful day when he decided he really wanted a Disney Store gift card (who wouldn’t?). He uploaded a video of himself doing Disney character impressions while singing Let It Go. and the rest, as they say, is history.
Like a bolt out of the blue, fate steps in and sees you through…
His original video garnered over 27 million views, and many of his other videos are not far behind. Brian continues to churn out quality content full of heart and talent, which has made him one of my favorite YouTubers. This genuine and kind soul has officially edged out Cary Elwes as the most charming interviewee I’ve ever spoken with. (Sorry, Cary, but you didn’t talk to me like Winnie the Pooh.)
Pop City Life chatted with Brian about how he first discovered his talent for vocal impressions, having a new career overnight, and what he’s most excited about experiencing at this weekend’s D23 Expo.
Read on for our exclusive interview with Brian Hull:

After Katy Perry released her standalone single Rise back in July, the inspirational song was prominently featured in NBC’s Olympics coverage. It was also cited by Pulse nightclub shooting survivor Tony Marrero as the anthem to his recovery. Who can forget Marrero’s emotional Ellen appearance earlier this month, which featured Perry herself? (If you haven’t seen it, grab some tissues!)
Eleven-year-old songstress, actress, and dancer Asia Monet Ray recently put her unique stamp on this modern classic. Her music video is rapidly approaching 100,000 views, and YouTube commenters – who aren’t typically known for their civility – are showering her with compliments! One compared Asia Monet to Rihanna, while several posited that the cover may be as good as or better than the original song.
Watch the music video below, and check out our August interview with Asia Monet Ray!
