1.Could you introduce yourself?
My name is Jenny Delich (Delish) odd ball midwestern girl chasing a dream like the rest of us.
2.What made you audition for The Real World?
Kind of a curb ball time for me to do this because I moved to LA to pursue acting and I ended up on a reality show. But with either medium of media, I want to have the opportunity to make people laugh and learn from my mistakes.
3.Had you ever auditioned for any other shows before?
Yes, but they were for scripted television shows and movies. I have been to a lot of auditions in Hollywood. Throughout the last year or so I have been learning a lot about which roles I want to land by learning a lot about myself through this “Real World” experience.
4.What were you the most excited for, and most nervous about before starting filming?
Most excited to learn about my new room mates. Most nervous about getting into it with my room mates. I can be a little anal on certain things and I had never lived with room mates before. I didn’t want anyone putting their bum piss infested shoes on my bed. I ended up being one of the only ones that cleaned the bathroom, shit crush, and toothpaste drool……Nasty!
5.Is it weird seeing yourself on TV?
So weird!! I tear myself apart sometimes. But also laugh at myself, I didn’t fully realize all my little quirks.
6.Did you go into the show thinking you would find a guy so quickly?
Kinda. Well my ex and I kind of got back together a couple weeks before the show but he was still seeing someone else when I moved in the Real World house. Rebound time! I knew they would have a guy that was my type moving in.
7.What has your family thought about the show so far?
They are proud of me. They think I look “smart and funny” LOL!! A lot of my friends and family say I have acted the same way on the show as I always have so they mainly are proud of me “keepin it real,”
8.When the exes arrived we saw the shock on your face. What were you thinking in that moment?
I was so confused. I had a brain overload. I didn’t expect him to come at all since I told him I was seeing someone in the house. He felt bad that I was upset about him seeing someone else so he sent me flowers and chocolate on my birthday (wasn’t show) so I didn’t know what terms him and I were on exactly. One day he would be ready to work on us and then the next he would say he didn’t know.
9.Who did you connect with first in the house and did you have any issues with anyone in the house?
I connected with Ashley first. We are both a little crazy and dysfunctional. We had a lot of fun together in the house. We are both from the country, love to go dancing, and liked the same type of music.
10.When the exes arrive we see them band together a bit, did the original room mates do the same?
No, everyone coupled up and Hailey was the odd one out. Brian and I kind of “took her under our wings,” For example if we all went out eat, Hailey would sit with Brian and I while everyone double coupled at different tables if we couldn’t all fit at one table.
11.Do you have any regrets about the show at all?
No because everything happens for a reason and I just try to learn from all my mistakes instead of regretting making them. You can’t truly grow unless you make mistakes then learn from them.
12.Who do you stay in contact with the most?
I talk to Brian a lot, we have learned a lot about our relationship and ourselves through this process. I still talk to Jamie, Arielle, and Jay a good amount.
13.How has your life changed since the show?
I get recognized at Starbucks!! It’s pretty cool.
14.Have you been getting more positive or negative feedback?
99% positive. 1% negative. Honestly I’m a little surprised I haven’t received more hate but I won’t complain. A lot of people have been saying even though I slept with Cory on “day two” lol, I haven’t came across as a slut. The difference between a slut and a sexually free woman is confidence. “Sluts” have sex for validation and attention. I have sex because I enjoy it. Cory and I had a very intense sexual connection right off the bat…those producers. ..I love that I have been making people laugh as much as the feedback shows. I have kind of been a clown since since I was a child.
15.What is your current relationship status?
I’m working on things with Brian.
16.Do you have any tips for people auditioning for the show?
Don’t be desperate to be on the show! Be authentic and original. It helps a lot if your open about pretty much anything. They want you to be raw and real. Despite what people say, I don’t think they care for wild people with a drinking problem. There may be one person cast like this but it’s obvious when your forcing that image.
17.What should we look forward to in the rest of this season?
We get deep into complex relationship issues. There is a lot to be learned from this experience. Everyone will likely relate to one of the couples and their problems. A whole different sides comes out of me later in the season, the “wrath” comes out. People were proud of me for “keeping my cool” with Cory as much as I would love to “claim” that calm asset, I didn’t have deep feelings for Cory and that’s why I didn’t go all out on him. Brian definitely pushes my buttons. My buttons go” out of order.” Can you tell I like to use quotation marks?
18.What would you like to say to your fans/supporters?
I love y’all, I appreciate all your support!! what is this, Miss.America?? Lol Y’ALL ARE BADASS AND I LOVE Y’ALL
