Have a seat on your magic carpet everyone and get ready to learn about Sidney’s time as the Genie of the lamp! We’re also about to learn just how The Evil Queen got out of her marriage to Snow’s father. Get ready Genie. You aint never had a friend like her.
The Genie’s lamp is discovered by Snow’s father. He is so happy in his own life that he uses his wishes to grant the Genie’s freedom. His second wish is to transfer his last wish over to the Genie. Wow. What a nice guy. He leaves to stay with the King in his kingdom where he meets The Queen. Trapped in an unhappy marriage she’s willing to kill herself to escape it. When the King suspects that the Queen has been unfaithful to him, her father begs the Genie to help set her free. He offers to kill the King for her. He succeeds and happily goes to be with the Queen forever. Unfortunately, she’s about to rain on his parade. She set him up for the murder and was using him the whole time. Bitch is EVIL. He refuses to let her get away and uses his last wish to be with her forever. Fine print? He’s now trapped in a mirror.
Sidney goes to Emma wanting help revealing Regina’s corrupt ways. Emma doesn’t agree until Sidney tells her Regina hired him to follow her and Henry. She knew about Henry’s play castle all along and knowingly tore it down to hurt him. Oh yeah. She tore it down. And also? Henry’s book is now missing. They bug Regina’s office and find out that she’ll be paying off Rumply in a secret place in the woods for an unknown reason. While driving there, Emma’s brakes go out.
They realize she’s been using city money to build something in the woods and go to a town meeting to expose her. She reveals that she’s building a playground for the children to play safely thus, making Emma look like an idiot. Who didn’t see that one coming? And can I just say, that is the lamest playground I have ever seen. For 50 grand they could get some swings or a jungle gym or something sheesh. It is then revealed that Sidney has been working for Regina all along and is now lying to Emma. He is the one who cut her brakes. Gasp. Jerk!
In other news, Mary and David are now carrying on their affair with romantic picnics in the woods. I can’t say I’m thrilled with this development. Cheating isn’t very romantic even if they’re meant to be together. He should break it off with his wife first. As for the whereabouts of Henry’s book? It is now in the hands of the Mysterious Stranger.
