When he goes back to school, he kills a teacher and makes his classmates drink her blood too, after he has turned them all.
Another teacher is injured but manages to escape and alert the colleagues. The school is on lockdown, the police arrive. When they go inside, they are faced with a bloodbath. All the kids are brought outside, not knowing they are the massacre’s cause. When questioned by the police, they all agree there was a man with a mask inside, and that he was the killer.
At the Cortez, The Countess tells Alex she can stay as long as she wants and see Holden whenever she wants, if she will follow the rules. She tells her she’ll have to take care of all the children.
Donovan goes back to Ramona’s house with his mother. Ramona tells him she doesn’t want to talk to him since she can’t use him against The Countess anymore. But Donovan tells her she can use Iris as the “inside man” at the Hotel Cortez. Iris has no choice, she has to go back, and like Alex and everyone who has been turned, she’s going to need fresh blood.
Liz Taylor helps Iris during this stressful time, and we learn something about his past. Before ending up at the Cortez, he was Nick, a married man with an unsatisfying marriage. And he liked to dress with women’s clothes. One night, while he’s at the Hotel Cortez for a job trip, he finds The Countess in his room, while he’s all dressed up. She says she wants to help him become who he was born to be. She gives him his new name: Liz Taylor. He tells Iris that The Countess didn’t turn him though, she hired him at the Hotel.
Liz Taylor tells Iris that she has to be strong, especially now. And she starts being fearless by killing two annoying customers, and then drinking their blood.
John speaks with his superior about what he saw during the Halloween party at the Cortez. He says there must be some kind of copycat cult. He also thinks that whoever is impersonating March, he’s the Ten Commandment Killer. His boss though thinks it’s only John being under a lot of stress, and doesn’t believe a word he says. He also fires him.
Back at the hotel, John wakes up in bed with Sally.
